The Outcast

Chapter Six

I see her eyes roll into her head and her body goes limp, I grab hold of her and lay her down on the grass. "Hey, hey. Emily! Emily! Stay with me! Em?!" I shake her body but she isn't waking up. "Alright that's it, I'm bringing you to the medic." I scoop her up in my arms and head for the medic. No one is in the halls the Campus completely empty.

I step into the medical room, "Hey can someone help me!" A nurse rushes out as well as a few others. "M-My friend she passed out. She's been out for 3 minutes now."

"Okay stay calm can you bring her into one of the rooms please and lay her on the bed." The nurse tells me.

"Okay." I rush into one of the rooms and lay her gently on the bed.

The nurses come in with in IV bag and a needle. They find a vain and insert the needle.

My eyes slowly drift open, bright white lights sting my eyes. I groan closing them again.

"Emily. You okay?" I hear the soft rustic Australian voice of Wyatt.

I groan, "Where am I?"

"Your in one of the medical rooms of SHS."

"What happened?" I ask rubbing my eyes my memory foggy.

"You passed out, outside on the campus grounds."

"Oh..." I blink a couple of times to focus in on Wyatt.

"Are you feeling better? Do you still feel weak?"

"A little. I still feel a little weak yeah...How long was I out?"

"For a couple of hours."

"Hours?!" I sit up quickly my blood pressure drops and I feel a rush of blood drop from head.

"Woah, woah easy there cowgirl." He sets me back down.

"I got homework to do though."

"Your health is more important." Wyatt tells me

"I know, but my homework is just as important.."

"I went back and got our books. Do you want to work on it now? We can help each other on our homework."

"Yeah okay.."

He pulls the table over my lap and places my books on it. "Let's get started." He smiles I smile back.

So we spend a couple hours on our homework but get it done. He walks me back to the girl dorms but stops before entering the hallway..

"This is as far as I go.."

I laugh, "Well thanks for everything Wyatt.." I turn to leave but he puts a hand on my shoulder.

"Em?"

"Yeah?"

"How broken is your necklace?" He asks
