I lifted the bottom of my mask to chug my boba smoothie. I was training in the local dojo since I broke two lamps and a table last time I trained at home.
"GAH! Fuck!" I coughed, gagging on my boba. Was it coming for me? No duh. Was chugging it the reason I choked? Kind of.
The main reason I choked was that I caught a familiar aura. One that I battled with constantly. Hastily I put my half-empty boba cup by my bag and got back on the mat, staying in a corner as I decided to just fight like normal.
Ignoring his aura was kind of easy. Bakugou was still at the counter so I continued to beat up the air. Falling into a routine, I decided to fuck it and go all out.
High kick, spin, with a following punch, left hand. Drop spin kick once, low spin corkscrew up to catch if they jump the first kick. Double punch front flip, twist back, back handspring to getaway. Bounce to catch breath and circle, dart in and aim right uppercut follow by a left dropkick. Follow with arm grab, twist and twist, scissor legs around the neck and tighten, curl and brace for backward or forwards impact. Have hands ready to front or back spring.
As I got into my fighting, I subconsciously created an ABT or Aura Bot Tester. I could make them on purpose so they would follow every command, but if I made them while fighting, I wouldn't notice. It only sucked because it took a lot of energy out of me and I had really only mastered making it a few months ago, on the strict training regimen my cousin gave me.
I would keep fighting and they would fight against me, controlled by my subconscious to know each and every move I did and how to counter. It made for a good training partner.
Grab the hair, pull back and knee face. Blocked, dropkick with elbow jab. Pull knee back and break arm. Blocked, aim punch to neck. Follow with cartwheel kick-punch combo. Unconscious. Win.
I shook my head out, looking at my dissipating ABT. Oops, looks like I made one again.
We reached out and I gathered the aura back into my body, spinning as I heard a round of clapping.
I narrowed my eyes and looked at my classmate. "Bakuhoe, what lovely surprise."
He snorted. "I came here to train, Bitchy Brain. Didn't you notice that this is a dojo?"
"I've gone to this dojo almost every day for the past four years. I've never seen you before even once, so why the fuck are you here now?" I snapped. "What, you want to stalk me or something?"
He growled at me, baring his teeth as I almost snorted in amusement. Just like the animal he is.
"No, the Old Hag forced me out because she didn't want me blowing up the fucking couch! There, happy?!"
I smirked, "Very."

I panted, chugging the rest of the boba. I didn't choke this time. I had tied the bottom of my tank top to my mid stomach and taken off my sweats, leaving me in a pair of loose shorts that used to be Kylo's.
Bakugou was across the dojo, finishing his last set of push-ups. His shirt was off and his socks somehow made their way over to me. I raised a brow at them. All Might socks? Guess someone's a secret fanboy.
I picked up my shoes and picked the two socks up, using my shoes as chopsticks as I walked over to Bakugou.
"Lose your socks, Fanboy?" I asked, holding my shoes out. He got up and turned red, the slight magenta tinge to his aura telling me that this was embarrassment, not anger.
He scowled and snagged them. "Shut up, Fuckface."
I gasped dramatically. "I'm wounded."
He snorted as I walked away. A hand on my shoulder made me spin and dig my nails into whoever's arm it was.
"Ow! What the fuck?!"
"Sorry not sorry, Baka," I shrugged. "Don't sneak up on me. What do you want?"
"I saw you earlier. Want to spar?" he asked, his voice low with the magenta in his aura getting a bit brighter. I was thankful this was a brighter color instead of the neon Grape had. Neon was lust, while regular was just embarrassment.
I raised a brow at him but quickly got into a fighting stance, waiting for him to drop slightly before launching at him, pulling my left leg around his right one and pulling, sending a jab to his jaw at the same time.
He flipped me over and punched my side, making me curl as he kicked me away, ducking under a high kick but getting knocked into the dropkick I pulled right after.
I jumped up but tripped as he splayed his legs and caught me, flipping me onto my back and trying to pin me but I–and thank you to gymnastic classes–pulled my leg up high like when you're in ballet class and you pull your leg behind you to pull up behind your head. Only this time, I used it to kick him in the balls and twist, headbutting his chin.
He grunted but grinned at me as he kicked my leg down. "You're a challenge."
I smirked and gave a hard right hook with a following left uppercut. "I know. You are too."
Almost as if in the same mindset, we grinned widely before going back to fighting, twisting and turning all over the mat and not caring about the two or three people that passed through.

I panted as I left. Bakugou had just left and I needed to practice holding my aura strong for longer periods of time, instead of relying on stealing others, like Sensei said.
"If you rely on others aura's to fuel yourself," he grunted, grabbing my arm and tossing me away. I twisted and landed with my hands on the fence, hopping off like a cat as a large shard of metal indented itself in the wall, "you'll never get stronger."
"I'm trying!" I snarled, readying a ball of aura in my hand. "I'm fucking trying but you're not giving me any chances!"
"Will a villain give you a chance, Kai! Will they? Or will they go straight for the jugular?"
I knew he was right but anger was all I felt. I threw the aura ball at him and he dodged, making me growl. I spun as he was suddenly gone, looking to my left only to be hit. I let out a yelp as the world went fuzzy for a moment.
"You're dead. You let emotions stop you from winning, Kai. You're not rational when you do that, so what the hell are you going to do?"
Shakily, I got up, using the wall to balance. A metallic liquid bubbled up and I spat it out, wiped the red from the smile I was cursed with.
"I'm gonna beat your ass, old man," I rasped, and he chuckled, making the grin feel genuine for a few seconds. "So stop fucking with me and fight me like the bastard you are."
He laughed at me, "That's no way to talk to your cousin, is it?"
I smiled wider, thinking of it. He pushed me to do better and better. I was never able to steal aura's or mold them when I was young. The training I went through to just get over seeing it and being able to tell personalities to fighting with blobs of aura in my control.
A sharp pain distracted me and I hissed, pulling my shirt up. I grimaced at the blood, only wiping it away as I looked to the sky.
"I won't fail you, Kenzi."

Did I get bored? Yes, yes I did. This is mostly a filler, as you can see as it's shorter than usual. How's everyone doing in quarantine? I've been in the hospital twice, both for three days, due to asthma and panic attacks, so that's fun. It's also great since everyone but my little brother is at high risk of contracting and having a fatality of the COVID-19!
You can also see how tired I am from that sentence. It didn't even make any sense to me. Anyway, hope y'all are safe and see you later, Dragon's and Wolves!
