MESSED UP.!

CHAPTER TWO

Sabry spent almost all her childhood in a children's home.. Life there was just a mess.. Her mother had her when she was 18 and since she couldn't take care of her she decided to give her over.

She was deprived of her motherly care when she was about four years old. She remembers vividly that fateful day her mom taking her to a home full of children, kissing her on her forehead promising to come back for her later, which she never did.

She was a fragile little angel left to face the world on her own. Janet- the mistress tried her best to calm her down that night when her mother didn't show up and in like a month Sabry was used to living without her mother.

She was a bitter child ever since her mother left, life in the home made her tough and emotionally unstable. Survival for the fittest was what made most of the kids eat in there.. luckily for Sabry.. Janet kinda had a soft spot for her and her being like the tinniest of all granted her favours from the mistress which of course triggered hatred from the rest of the children.

One day as they were lining up for their morning meal, a mean girl poured hot porridge on her, " Hey watch out you skinny thing!!!" she barked.. "can't you even see where you going you lil freak!!.I bet you want mom Janet to give you extra porridge in the kitchen!!" The rest of the kids laughed.

Sabry kind of got used to the older girls picking on her and never cared until one day when Rosalia the same 'evil witch' tried to snatch her bunny away from her.. That was the only thing that gave her sollace, made her sleep at night and also reminded her of her mother.

She couldn't take it any more she dashed at her and hit her with a metal rod. Rosalia collapsed. " That's what you get for messing with me you witch." Sabry hissed and walked away.
She felt no remorse that day. Rosalia was taken to the hospital and never came back. They didn't know where she went but rumour had it that she was taken to a foster home.

Since then life kind of got easier as all the girls feared her to death and she was the one calling the shots - she was the 'queen- used to be Rosalia's title.'
She fought anyone who tried to take her position and was kind off getting used to this life.

"Sabrina Jeaven! You needed in the mistress office," the matron called. Sabry couldn't fathom why she was summoned to Janet's office cause for the past week she hadn't broken any bones..well except for a punch she administered to Mary who kind of apologized for using her plate. The poor girl was so frightened that she couldn't get the nerves to report her to Janet unless she wanted to get her ass kicked.

Janet's office was ajar, the strawberry aroma filled the air. Janet was a middle aged woman prolly in her early forties - Stylish, classy ,sweet and
beautiful as usual. She smiled exposing her chloro-stained teeth ushering Sabry to come in.

Sabry couldn't help tears rolling down her cheeks , clenching her fist and a grip inside her throat when she saw a familiar figure seated next to Janet.
"H--e--y ba--by!! Oh my God you so grown now.. I really missed you !! I've come to take you home now!! I have enough to support us sweety!! been working hard for you gummy bear!!" the woman said with tears lingering in her eyes.

" B-ab-y?? Are you kidding me?? After all these years?? You never ever cared to gimme an explanation?? Then you just show up here like everything is okay?? You left me when I was four - I'm fifteen now?? Do you know how much I've gone through?? Do you know what I feed and cloth?? Do you even care??what kind of a mother abandons her kid??" Sabry bursted in tears.

She stormed out of the office and ran to the dormitory. She held her bunny and cried her heart out. " Sabry I know it's hard but she's still your mother, you've always said you want a better life, well!! This is your only shot and luckily with your biological mother who cares about you.. we may not know reasons as to why she left you here but she's been calling every week to check on your progress. She really loves you Sabry I suggest you give her a chance and let her make it up to you." Janet said..

Sabry raised her head and put her arms around Janet.. she cried on her shoulders for a while and just like that Sabry left the children's home to stay with her mother really determined to make this work- fix their broken relationship and give family a chance.
