COLOUR AND TEXT
Don't you just hate when you see a good graphic with a nice colour scheme get ruined by some random fucking red text?
I know you want to make the text stand out, but please, there are other ways to do it without fucking with the colour scheme of your book cover.

Just make sure the colour of the text matches the colour scheme of the edit. It doesn't have to be exact but please make it similar.
Update : you can also make the text colour complementary to the colours of the book. For example, a common thing is using yellow or golden text on a blue and red book cover.
And if all fails then just go with white or black lmao.

MAKING THE TEXT BLEND IN
Ok, so we use a white text for a book cover, but oh no, the white text looks fucking weird.
Get your airbrush (there's other ways to do this like on pixellab but meh) and brush the top and bottom of the text with a dark colour (preferably one that fits the colour scheme).
Then brush the middle with white, or a light colour, and set it to add.

This way the text doesn't look like it wants to fall out of the cover.

MAKING THE TEXT NOT LOOK WEIRDLY BOLD

Ok, so we've changed the colour and done the weird gradient method, but the text still looks a little too big.
Bevel that shit baby.

ADD A LITTLE SWIRRRLL
Swirl pngs (or fonts) are the way to gO!
(Update : Search the dingbats category on dafont.com. i think that's where I find swirl fonts. You can also just search swirl pngs.)
Put them next to those determiners like this :

ADD HIGHLIGHTS
Idk about you, but I like to make a new layer, set it to add, and rub some parts of my text with either sparkles or the airbrush.
It adds something you know?

DROP SHADOW AND GAUSSIAN BLUR
Sometimes the reason the text is hard to see is because you needs to drop a shadowwww. A blurred one preferably.
Also, to add a little mystical shit to your text, copy the texy, set it to add, blur it, then reduce opacity.
