It is now my third day on Hontellè. The food and the people are all good. I had to be careful in asking around since they don't know that I'm Kuaii's prince and my cover story is simple.
I told them that I'm there as a traveller. I guess they don't get visited often so when someone from the outside visits, they give their all. The security is not very high either.
They told me that their village is protected by "Nymphs" of the waters. Of course I know those are just made up and that this place is nothing more than another land to conquer.
I don't know if it's just the way they act or it is really in their nature to be free, caring and relaxed. It was all thanks to their beloved prince, so they say. They really believe that their prince has been chosen and can single-handedly protect them from anyone.
Another one of their ignorant mumblings. What can this prince do anyway without the power of the river? I will let them know how to actually run a village once I take over.
