(JK POV)

"...Uncle Greg?!" I exclaimed.

He was the head of the guards when we were attacked when I was a kid. I never thought that I would get to see him again.

"My prince, let us go to where we can't be seen." He whispered.

We went to a secluded part of the village where most of my men were staying and they didn't seem fazed at all in the abrupt appearance of their former general.

Am I missing something?

"Uncle, tell me something. What happened to you? I haven't seen you in ages." I asked.

"I was sent here by your father to aid you in your mission." He said.

He then told me that he had the royal family infiltrated, gained their trust, for the sole purpose that one day I will be the final nail in the coffin.

I never thought that this plan runs this deep. It has been 20 years and all of this now lies on me.

If this plan fails, it may fall on me and honestly, I was afraid. Is this worth uncle Gregory's betrayal to the people of Hontellè?

"You have been here long enough, we have never seen Prince Jimin's ability to heal using the river yet. Did you find out how it works?" I asked.

He looked at me long and hard which made me a bit uncomfortable.

"Here's the thing, I saw how he heals and it is not how you think it is." He said.

"The river hosts a multitude of nymphs who gives the prince his powers. I know this sounds crazy but hear me out." He continued.

"These nymphs presents themselves to us like little lights floating in the air. . ." He said.

In that moment, a flashback occured to me. Floating lights?

". . .we can't see their true form. Only the blessed one can see them and that's Prince Jimin. He went to the forrest last night. . ." He continued.

. . . He knew that Prince Jimin was in the forrest last night? So the glowing lights I saw was these nymphs?

"What can these nymphs do?" I asked.

"Well, they can heal any sickness. Also they protect this land. How? I don't know." He said.

"Have you realized yet? This place, this land. It's like it is enchanted. There's peace all the time, abundance all the time." He continued.

"I have been here for 20 years. 20 YEARS! Not one famine, or war, or conflict." He exclaimed.

He has a point. I did not see a single hint of hate in this place and all of the people have no care in the world. It's not natural.

"If you look closely, this place is unnaturally preserved and secluded. I was not here on my own. I wounded myself, went to the forrest and when I woke up I was here." He continued.

"Uncle Greg, are you alright? You seem a bit uneasy." I asked.

"These nymphs are scary creatures but they have a weakness. The chosen one himself. If we eliminate prince Jimin, we can bring chaos to the land. And in chaos, there's opportunity." He said.

I now know that what we are dealing with are more than people. If these nymphs really protect this place, the only way we can win is to eliminate the chosen one. All comes down to killing prince Jimin.

Prince Jimin, I know this will be hard but off with your head.
