When Finn walked through the door of Daniel's room he didn't know what to think.
"Finn?" He questioned confused on why his friend was at the hospital.
"Daniel honey. You remember me?" The curly haired man tilted his head confused. 'Whos Daniel?' He thought.
He didn't have enough time to bring his question to light before Finn launched himself onto him. Sobs sounded through the room. Daniel could feel his shoulder and gown get wet. His eyebrows furrowed as he awkwardly hugged Finn back.
The nurse who had showed Finn where Daniel's room was stood at the door. Her face adorned a sad smile. Unshed tears burrowed in her eyes.
"Mr. Mikaelson?" she called lightly. Finn let go of a confused Daniel, tears streaming down his face a hope smile on his lips. He turned toward the nurse. "Mr. Kellog doesn't remember anything from the accident except apparently you."
Finn's seemingly happy smile fell as he turned to Daniel sharply. A slight look of horror replaced the happiness.
One of his calloused hands flew to his mouth. Sobs once again filled the room, though this time they seemed mournful.
"Will he get them back?" Finn asked not turning away from his supposed husband. The female walked up to Finn placing a dainty hand upon his shoulder.
"He will but it takes time Mr. Mikaelson." Finn nodded. "You can take him home if you'd like. Just have to sign him out first."
"Of course." Was Finn's immediate response.
The nurse turned and started walking away from the couple. Before exiting she adressed both males.
"I'll leave you alone for a few minutes. Bring back the sign out packets and all." Then she left.
A still confused Daniel sat on his bed looking at the man he had barely met once.
"Why are you here?"
Finn who had lost all sadness in his face smirked lightly. Those who had experience with his siblings would instantly recall the "Mikaelson" smirk vividly.
Under all that boring facade and emotionless glances was a man willing to do anything to get what he wanted. Under the Finn everyone saw was a Finn that was probably more devious than Kol, more horrifying than Niklaus, more sly than Elijah. But most importantly more love hungry than Rebekah.
No one saw this side of him. Not even his mother. And yet he was showing it to a complete stranger, much less a mortal. It frightened Finn that Daniel could bring out such emotion. Though it also excited him.
Oh how it excited him to his very core. He would learn more about this man. Whatever it took.
"We're getting you out of here. Honey."

yeah Finn is ooc. But hear me out. Finn is a very determined person. It may be for the wrong reasons but he is a determined character none the less.
In TVD he tried his very hardest at killing his siblings, this carried on into TO and he did everything in his power to do so. He is very love hungry because, well, Sage. He was able to fool people in his Vincent form making him devious and sly and he was truly a force to be reckoned with. One that could rival even Klaus, that's pretty scary.
