Eleanor typed away for hours, looking at emails and transferring patients to a different hospital if needed. She looked at the time, twelve was about to strike in a second. Eleanor stopped what she was doing and clocked out for lunch. The day was grim the weather trickled of rain.

Eleanor walked the hallways going to the cafeteria she heard a coworker talking about her. She grimaced as she heard “Eleanor is a sexy robot.” she shook her head upon hearing that. Eleanor was a quiet girl and only talked if needed or on business terms. she turned down a hallway smelling food. Doors opened showing food, trays, soda machines, deserts, fruit bar, and a lady at a register. Eleanor walked in grabbing a tray. She looked at the food grabbing a sandwich, fruit, and water. She paid for the meal after she left going back to her office to eat in silence and peace.

Thirty minutes later she clocked back into work. She worked the rest of her shift as every other day. Although today isn’t any other ordinary day, today is raining no hard, but soft little trickles hitting Eleanor’s head. A sigh was heard from her as she entered her car. She outside of Ashbourne in the woods was where she lived so no one could find that not even the people who hurt her will find her. her house was quaint with two rooms and a bathroom. She had a little orange cat named Figaro.

Eleanor opened the door to her home. She saw Figaro laying on the couch wagging his tail. She set her keys on a small table. Hearing the clanging of the keys Fiagro jumped up going to Eleanor. "Come Figaro it is time to make food." Eleanor's voice lacked emotion, she sounded like a robot even.

Eleanor in the kitchen cooked pasta. It was small enough for her for she didn't eat a lot for dinner only lunch was where she ate enough to make her full because she only had coffee for breakfast. She brought out a can of cat food for Figaro. She heard a knock on the door she tensed setting the can of food on the table. Her walking was light as she went to open the door. She sighed in relief seeing her only friend Dolcie.

"Happy Friday El!" Dolcie was a witch a very old one, but she looked about twenty-eight.

Eleanor waved for she did not speak a lot. Dolcie gave her a smile as always and walked into the house. Figaro meowed at Docile greeting her. She smiled at Figaro as always when he greeted her. Eleanor went back to eating her food finishing it. "How come you didn't call?"

"I did, but you didn't answer." Eleanor took her dishes to the sink. She grabbed her bag taking her phone out.

"Sorry, I was hungry." Dolcie crossed her arms. Eleanor looked a the messages and the time as always.

"Oh, El you are still the same. I remember the first time I found you, curled up in a ball bloodied in an alley."

"Yes, let's not talk about that."

"El, I know it was bad, but look at you a witch....a green witch." Eleanor was quiet she hates talking about the past. She walked past Dolcie tending to her plants. Dolcie followed her watching what she was doing. She rolled her eyes at Dolcie.

"I am guessing you want to stay over." Dolcie nodded leaving quickly to grab her things. Eleanor sighed knowing her well. She walked to her room grabbing extra pillows and blankets for Dolcie. She set them down on the couch. Dolcie opened the door rain was on her shoulders and head. Eleanor looked emotionless, but Dolcie can always sense her emotions.

"Mad? Hmm, that is a new emotion for you. Listen I know this is sudden, but he is back and I don't want to see him anymore." Eleanor nodded knowing of what happened she was involved of course. she sighed knowing this was bad to ask.

"I know this is bad what I am saying. I have the guest room open again because of him I can mask your scent." Dolcie smiled clapping her hands together. Eleanor grabbed some herbs from her kitchen to mask the scent. She set the room up to make sure Doclie could sleep comfortably.

"The room is done for your liking, don't touch the herbs."

"I know so stop treating me like a child." Eleanor only looked at her and shrugged. Dolcie picked up her bag and went into the room jumping on the bed. Eleanor picked up Figaro and brought him to the guest room. He purred in her arms. Dolcie opened her arms inviting Figaro. He jumped into her arms.

"Figaro protect her tonight." He meowed when Eleanor left. Dolcie smiled cuddling the cat. She was always cheerful and full of emotion other than Eleanor she was out there always even if she was older than her.

Eleanor looked in the mirror washing the makeup off of her face and getting out of her work clothes. Figaro meowed signaling some is here around the house. Dolcie got up running to the door. Eleanor ran to the guest room grabbing things on her way. "Eleanor! You won't defeat him."

"If I use my magic this won't happen." Dolcie sighed knowing best that would happen she would protect her as always. Eleanor left the house slamming the door. She looked around to find anything left of anybody. A werewolf was on the land passed out. She used vines to drag the big wolf away keeping her dagger close. Eleanor tumbled in the house trying to drag the wolf with her. Dolcie looked at Eleanor surprised at what she did.

"You brought a wolf-man?" Eleanor nodded taking off her sweater covering the wolf.

"He has a gun wound, could you clean up the blood and set him on the couch after I put a towel down." She rushed grabbing a couple of towels down on the couch. She grabbed her medical kit, a cup filled with alcohol, a needle, and thread. She went over to the wolf already seeing him on the couch. Eleanor breathed in pulling out tweezers to get the bullet out. Once she did she got the thread and needle closing the wound. Dolcie looked at her work and smiled at her.

"You did a good job."
