I'm Not the Man You Knew (Depressed! Hawks)

Chapter 3

(TW- may have some sad stuff)

Dabi POV

When Endeavor left, I bolted down the stairs and picked up Hawks. "Baby what did he do to you..." I sat down and set his head down on my lap. I smiled at the sleeping man and I looked over his body, seeing any burns there were.

There was a giant burn on the side of his neck and a couple small other burns all around his body, mainly his arms. But he did have a cut on his jaw leading up to his cheek. But it seemed that this cut was cleaned. But it looked fresh. I don't know where he got that but I sure as hell would have noticed that this morning.

I got up and gently set his head on the pillow next to me. "Endeavor did this. These burns prove it." I scowled and went up to our room to change. I changed from a grey tank top and black sweatpants to my villain outfit. 

Shigaraki always has us meet twice a week at around six. That is the time when heroes normally get home so they are off work. It was 5:26 pm but I wanted to patch up Keigo a bit before I left.

I walked back downstairs and saw my Hawks sitting up.

Hawks POV

I grunted in pain as I opened my eyes. 'What the hell...' I moved my arms up and down and I yelped. I also tried to flex my wings but they were burned heavily. I tried to move as much as I could, something went through my mind that I deserved the pain I was given.

I continued moving my arms and wings, now having tears poor down my cheeks. 

But I heard someone coming down the stairs. "Keigo!" I flinched so bad that I yelped again, jerking my arms and wings together. "Baby what happened to you?!" Dabi screamed. He sat next to me.

I quickly wiped my tears away but they continued flowing. Dabi looked up at me. "Talk to me. Whats with the burns and these tears?"

At that moment, I broke down. Tears flowed heavily as I held my hand over my mouth. I leaned over in pain and put my elbows on my knees and I watched as my tears hit Dabi's legs and the ground. All he did was hug me. "Keigo..."

I tried to muffle my sobs but it wasn't working. "I- They-" I started. 

"Take your time."

"I couldn't save them.." I sobbed. "There were so many people that died because I was too slow."

I think he understood because his eyes softened. "It's okay hun. You're the fastest there is. If you couldn't save them, nobody could." He whispered. 

I sunk down the couch onto the ground where I met Dabi's warm embrace. He picked me up and walked up the stairs. He set me on the bed and I laid down onto my stomach. My crying was slowing down, considering how I cried a lot today and I didn't have much left. 

"I'm here for you." Dabi started to wipe my slowing tears away. I kept my hand over my mouth but he moved it. "I love you." He whispered and I leaned in to kiss him. He was struck with my lips and waisted no time to kiss back. His lips moved so well with mine. He bit my bottom lip for entrance but I denied it. Swiftly, he moved his hand up my tight shirt. I gasped intentionally, leaving him room to enter. I had started to moan into the kiss.

He finally pulled away, but I wanted his lips. I missed them already.I whined slightly and he just chuckled. 

"You okay?" He asked sternly as he put his hands around me. 

I paused, not giving him an answer. But even before I could say anything, an alarm went off. 

"Ah shit.." he muttered. He turned toward the alarm and back towards me. "I have to go to the meeting." I frowned but then nodded. "While I'm out I can get some burn cream. It will help with those-" he motioned toward the mass amounts of burns on my chest and arms. I looked down and he lifted my chin so my eyes met his. "When I get back we are going to talk about that." He pointed to the gash on my jaw line.

I shifted my wings in pain and shyly nodded. 

He kissed me lightly and left the room.
