Chapter 24

Hawks POV

Endeavor left the room with me sitting in the middle of the room, helpless.

'I hope he knows that I'm not telling him shit.' I received no response from the voice always present in my mind. 'Great. I really am alone.' I ruffled my wings without thinking and covered my mouth. "Oh fuck.." The gash in my wing joints are still very tender.

A little while went by and I was half asleep by then. But the door opened in front of me with a screech. It was Rumi. I sighed as she closed the door behind her.

"Why'd you do it?" She asked calmly. (That's a first)

I looked up to her and she grew closer. "I was taken when I was a child and trained for my entire childhood (7-18 yrs old) to fight. Never once there was a break. We were told that we were a new breed of heroes. Do you know how I ranked to the top of my class?" I waited for a response only to receive silence. "I was the one who didn't quit. All the others in my class were weaker than I was. And you know who else was with me? Touya Todoroki." That seemed to ring a bell for Rumi, considering how her ears pricked up.

"Endeavor's dead son?"

"Yes but he is very much alive. Endeavor staged a fake death for his son so he could ship him to the same academy as I was in. But he was so mentally broken by his father. Don't you get it Rumi? Endeavor hurts me. He abused Dabi- I- Touya."

"Dabi? The villain?" She crossed her arms.

I hesitated but spilled. "Touya couldn't handle the abuse that the academy gave to him and I. We were the last two. He killed himself. At least, that's what the public knows." Tears threatened to spill. "He escaped and became the villain known as Dabi. My boyfriend."

Rumi let a small gasp escape her lips. She moved to stand directly in front of me and crouched down. "If I knew then, I would have stopped it. And I loved you Keigo. Hell, if you didn't turn into a villain, maybe we could have been lovers. But you did. I understand why you did."

"The heroes are corrupt and they dont stand for justice! They just beat people into submission!"

"YOU KILL PEOPLE!" Rumi screamed. She sat on the floor and sobbed. "I can't help you."

"You are just another one of their pawns. Doing their bidding. Someday you will understand." I spoke in monotone. She wiped some tears and stood to leave. "See you later Mirko." She walked through the door and slammed it.

Time skip
3rd POV

Hawks fell asleep but before long the flame king himself entered the interrogation room. While still sleeping, Hawks ruffles his wings.

"Honestly, I thought after the spy job we would be together. I remember how you always used to write notes on my fighting style. You'd always see me as your hero. Honestly, you were mine. You made me a kinder father. I guess I have reverted back to my old ways." He smirked and raised his right hand, heating it up to that his sweat was practically boiling. He slammed the hand down on the sleeping man's shoulder.

Hawks woke up with a jolt and he yelped.

"Hello Keigo." Endeavor smiled and kissed him square on the lips. It was a quick peck and he put more and more pressure onto his shoulder.

"GAHHG! You've BURned me before ENdEavor, but I've gotten used to it." He clenched his jaw.

"Oh I know. But this time, I will not hold back." He moved behind Hawks' chair and Endeavor put his hands on the joint separating Hawks' back and his wings. The gashes were still present and untreated.

"FUCKKK!" Hawks' tears spilled out of his yellow eyes. "STOP!! What do you WANT??!"

He moved so his mouth was next to Hawks' ear. "I want you to feel the same pain I felt when I discovered you were a traitor. And dating my son while you're at it." He put his hands back on his wings.
