Back at Washington White HS, people are in a frenzy. Not because anybody cares about Taylor, but because it's very rare for any type of crime to happen in their area. The worst thing that's happened in the past five years is teenagers smoking weed. There's a lot of conspiracies going around the town, such as, Taylor was apart of some secret society. Everybody was so focused on the new student going missing that nobody noticed that Nakyia hadn't been to school in weeks. People were questioning why they couldn't find Taylor. She'd never been the type to run away. Taylor's mom was unexpectedly calm about the situation. It was almost as if she didn't care. That raised a few questions when it came to the authorities. They brought her in for questioning at one point. A nice officer that went by the name of Winston James was one of the leading officers in the investigation.
"Hello ma'am, I know it was probably inconvenient for you to come in today but I just need to ask a few questions" said Mr. James.
"Of course! I don't mind at all not a lot to do anyways." Ms. Kluches responded in an almost joyful tone of voice. Mr. James and Taylor's mom, Ms. Kluches, went back in forth with questions and answers for almost 2 hours. Another officer came into the room and signaled for Mr. James. James and the officer left the room for what seemed to be 10minutes before the other officer came back in and places Ms. Kluches under arrest.
"What is this about?! What have I done?? You have the wrong person I did nothing wrong!" Taylor's mom screamed at the officer.
"Ms. Kluches, you are under arrest for the kidnapping and murder of Taylor Kluches." James said with a hard tone. "Murder?" Ms. Kluches whispered.
How do you explain to your family that your kid went missing and you are arrested for murder, but it's not your fault? Ms. Kluches thought that same question 101 million ways before she even made it to the police station. The arresting officer open the door and let Taylor's mom out of the back of the squad car. As they walked into the booking area of the jail, Ms. Kluches felt her head spinning. As if her mind wasn't attached to her body. With every step she felt her body loosing energy. Until she took one final step and fell. I couldn't tell you what caused this sudden fall but what I can say is, this was the beginning of Ms. Kluches final days.
