The Baseball Player and The Softball Player

Chapter 6

Kenzie's POV

I got finished getting ready for dinner. I had my long blonde hair done really beautiful.(pic of Kenz on side) I wore a beautiful short backless blue dress. With flats and light makeup. I walked downstairs to go get my parents. But they were still getting ready. I decided to eat something since I haven't eaten all day. I grabbed an apple for now and ate it while running upstairs to get my Vloging camera. I turned it on once I got it.

"Hey guys it's kenzieeee!! So basically I'm gonna start editing my video and upload while I go to dinner." I smiled. "So this is what I'm wearing tonight. It's a blue backless dress with silver straps. My hair is down straight obviously. And I'm wearing black flats."

"Makenzie come on!! Time to leave!!" My mom yelled at the bottom of the stairs. When I got to the bottom on the stairs my parents were slow dancing. RELATIONSHIP GOALS!!!!

"Mom dad come on let's gooo!!" I said grabbing the keys to out camero. Mmmmm I've missed this car.

"So makenzie when you start coaching little league?!" Crag asked.

"This week actually. Soon!! All I care about!!" I smiled.

"well maybe we'll have a little Kenzie out on the field." Thomas chuckled making me smirk.

"Yeah well just hope about that." I laughed and continued to eat our 7 course meal currently on my snails... Yeah gross. But I ate them anyway. After about 5 minutes caviar came. My favorite!! I know again... Let me practice I'm my best white girl voice... Ewwww.

"So miss Makenzie how was your tournament?!" Katie(crags wife/old softball coach.) asked.

"Good. We did really well. I took a couple softball to the hip or tummy once or twice but I was okay." I smiled.

"What place?!" Brandie (my other coach and Thomas's wife)

"We made 1st." I smile continuing to eat.

After dinner was done we decided we would go get ice cream together. As a 'celebration'.

We went to cold stone and I picked brownies Oreos Reese's and carmel. (A/N my actual order) Yum.

After a very long night I got home and called the person I know who will pick up and know where anyone will be.

I dialed coach burns number.

"Aye coach!!" I laughed.
"Hey baby girl!! How are you?! How's home?! What have you been doing?!" She asked.
"I'm great. And great boring tho. And I have been setting up little league that starts tomorrow!!" I smiled to myself. "So coach how's the boys?!" I asked.
"Their good behaving except one is always with a girl at night I think his name is Jacob." I almost dropped my phone. But someone knocked on my door.
"I'll call you later love you coach!!"
"Love you too babe!!" I smiled I walked to my door to open my door to a smiling Jacob.

"Jacob what are you doing here?!!" I yelled jumping into his arms.

"I came to surprise you Maddie's here too but she's saying hi to your family." Right on que Maddie come up the stairs I jumped out of Jacobs arms and hugged Maddie.

"Maddie I love youu!! Now who wants to go to sleep?!!" I laughed. Everyone followed me to my California King and we jumped in bed and we all fell asleep.

I woke up sweating I never sweat I went to get out of bed but someone was in my way and I had an arm draped over me. Memories from last night flooded back. Omg I was so happy.

I decided to fall back asleep. I slept for another 5 hours. Along with Maddie, Jacob woke up sometime and got out of bed and went to make us food.

"Pancakes bacon and orange juice." Jacob smiled I hugged him. "You're amazing." I kissed his cheek.

"Kenzie do you start little league today?!" Maddie asked.

"Yes." I smiled and nodded knowing what she would ask.

"Yes thank you bestie I love youuu!!" She came and hugged me.

After we ate lunch Maddie and I ran upstairs and changed into our uniforms for the tournament. Jacob was sitting at the bottom of the stairs in his baseball uniform. #13 gotta love them. We all jumped in my mustang and we went to the school for practice.

We got there and there were about 5 girls. My class was 15. Good enough girls for me right now. After everyone arrived I decided I would talk to them a little bit and individually have them show me all the things they know...

Everyone of these girls were advanced and I was just like them but one stood out more. She is exactly like I was when I was her age.

"Hey Katie right?!" She nodded. "I have a question. Can you try to pitch to me underhand and full?!" I asked. Smiling Maddie knew why I was doing this so got all the girls behind the fence.

Katie pitched to me underhand like I told her to do. A perfect ace. She started working her way up and every pitch was an ace. And when we decided to do a fast pitch she aced that 1000000 times... She is ANOTHER Makenze Raeann... I looked at Maddie..she was just as shocked as I was and so was Jacob..

"Katie come here!!" I smiled. "So sweety I have to tell you something. A normal 10 year old should not be able to do that.. Except I was just like you so don't let it scare you." I smiled hugging her and practice was over!! Finally I'm so tired.

It would be longer but I'm sooooo tired... And it's only 10:30....
