Kenz knocked on Katie's door and it wasn't Katie who opened the door..

Kenzie's POV

"Omg. Katie?!!" I yelled walking past some guy.

(A/N I bet you thought it was gonna be Kyle didn't you?!😂 I'm sorry..)

"Katie why is there 2 guys and another girl here? In my brothers house? Really Katie are you that low?" I yelled.

"Kenzie you've met my brothers and my brothers fiancé right?" She said.

"Omg I-I'm sorry I just-I just haven't seen Kyle in 4 years so I over react a lot when it comes to him... But Katie he wanted me to give you this and here's some money you can go to dinner.." I said handing her the box and money.

"Kenzie is he home?" She asked softly.

"No he sent me a letter asking to give you that. He misses you you know? He loves you. And he's almost done with the army he has another couple months. But if you need any of our family." I said hugging her and she began to cry softly which made me cry softly.

"Kenzie I love you." She said sobbing.

"I love you too sis." She looked at me then down at the box. "Open it." I said her eyes lit up.

She opened the box to a 24 carrot diamond ring. It was the first one Kyle and I agreed on so we had to get it.

She hugged me really tight and was still crying.

"Why didn't he give me this when he got back?" She asked.

"He doesn't know when he'll be back he doesn't even know if he'll be here for my graduation in a couple weeks.. But I have to go I have friends and Dylan's home gotta go back home." I said.

"Dylan's home? He wasn't suppose to come home tell Kyle did.." She said.

"I know he got sent home.. He watched Keith die.. And a couple other people from his crew. His crews down 15 men." I said looking down. "Kyle and Dylan's crew passed each other and then kept going. Katie Kyle doesn't want me to follow his footsteps like I've been planning. Katie I miss my brother more then anyone. I haven't seen him in 4 years I just want my brother home and safe." I hugged Katie and started crying. After about 15 minutes I stopped and grabbed my stuff to leave.

"Katie I love you nice meeting you all. I'll see you in a couple weeks. You're coming for graduation right?" I asked.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world love you too. Byee." She said hugging me and opening the door for me.

I walked to my car.

When I got home everyone was waiting for me in the kitchen eating the lunch my mom made everyone she passed me a sandwich when I walked it. I heard boot footsteps..?! Wtf?

I turned around and there was my cousin Lee.

"L-Lee what are you doing here? Don't you have training?" I yelled hugging him.

"I'm off training and I'm due to be sent out any day. So I have to be ready to leave and I came to say goodbye and I love you but you weren't here soo I waited for you. But chicka I'll miss you. You know James will be coming home in a couple days. He's ready for leave to." He said hugging me. So you see the reason he brought up James is cuz James is my bestfriend and always will be. And I haven't seen him in a year.

-2weeks later-

It's graduation day...

I had just woken up. I walked down the stairs to make myself some breakfast. And guess who sitting at my table.

It's James... Oh my god what's James doing here??
"James?! What are you doing here you're not supposed be home for another six months. And it's graduation day?! How did you make it just for graduation?!" I asked.

"Okay and there's a lot you need to know about life. I got to come home because I leave tomorrow and I will be home for a year..." He said hugging me.

-4 hours later-

I was now upstairs in my bedroom getting ready for graduation. When I was picking out my clothes I found my white dress that Kyle had bought me when he left. I decided I was gonna wear that and go all natural and make up and curl my hair. I just wish come home so he could see me graduate. I miss more than anything in this world nothing to do anything here for just today or any other day.

"Mak you got 10 minutes to be done." My mom said I was done so I went and brushed my teeth and sprayed my perfume. I grabbed my cap and gown and went downstairs to meet my family. To take pictures.

"Okay put that on and pictures." My mom said.

I took pictures with everyone and I had to leave when we were done we got to the stadium we were graduating at and I walked 'backstage' and met all my friends. My family and my bestfriend sitting in the audience. My girl bestfriend sitting next to me.

Right now I was about to say my valedictorian speech.

(A/N is it just me or does it seem like the main character is always valedictorian?!)

"Hey fellow bitches and douche bags. You know I love you. The last 4 years have been the most amazing years of my life. I've meet my bestfriend I've watched 2 brothers 1 cousin and my guy bestfriend go over seas. I haven't seen my oldest brother Kyle since my freshman year when he left. I know one day he'll be standing close to me but today it's not the day. I wanna thank everyone here for the best years of my life." I smiled. And I did out class sign.(the ily sign) and the entire class did it back to us. "Goodbye kids see you again one day. See you when we're died see you will we leave see you at the senior all nighter. See you soon I love you guys."

I walked and sat back down. They began calling our names and my principal decided to grab me and talk for a second to everyone. "I wanna stop at our valedictorian to just say she's gone through a lot we all know she wishes her brother was here right now" which made me begin to tear up. "Kenzie would you turn around and say hi to Kyle?!" My principal said I turned around and there Kyle was holding flowers. I jumped into his arms and began crying even more.

"Kyle what are you doing here?!" I sobbed.

"I'll explain but you need to graduate so go babe." He said to me.

I went and walked to my seat when everyone was finished we threw out caps I the air and ran outside. I found my family and we took pictures again.

I guess everyone knew he was back. Katie even did. She knew when I gave her that ring.

All in all my life's amazing suddenly arms wrapped around my waist and started running with me. Jacob. (Wondering where he was weren't you?! He was with the family the entire time)

Ugh I got my braces tightened... :'( and got rubber bands... And the lady stabbed me with the freaking sharp thing and I like cried... My gums and mouth are killing me...😭👎
