*Timeskip to battle*

Kakashi sensei, Sakura, Sasuke and I were escorting Tazuna to the bridge so that he could work on it. I noticed that Kakashi sensei kept glancing around, but I didn't pay any mind to it. I actually had zoned out until I noticed that the area was being surrounded with mist. And that's when I noticed the bodies of Tazuna's workers all scattered and knocked out.

When Zabuza's water clones appeared, Kakashi sensei told Sasuke to take care of them and that he did with the quickness. Then Zabuza and that brown haired kid showed up. "Nice of you to finally make an appearance" I spoke up, as Zabuza looked at me. "Namiko, you and Sakura stay back and guard Tazuna" he said. "Woah what ? NO way I want to help" I said as I stepped forward. Next thing I know, ice mirrors came up quickly out of no where.

I looked at them in amazement. "His kekkei genkai is-" I started but was cut off by Sakura. "Now is really not the time to be praising the enemy, Namiko" she scolded me. I was looking at the battle between Sasuke and Haku, and Sasuke was faring well, but it was obvious he didn't have the upper hand. I started to make the necessary hand skills. "Earth Style: Stone Shuriken Skill!!" I yelled as dirt formed into shurikens and headed for Haku. As soon as they got close enough for impact, he disappeared. "Wh-" I started to say as I was cut off by me being yanked up by one of my ponytails, and then tossed in the air.

I landed on the ground with a loud thud, and a huge cloud of dust surrounding me. "Well this is great" Sasuke said sarcastically, as I sat up coughing. I smiled mockingly at him before he grabbed me up and jumped around in a circle, senbon flying everywhere. "I can't be dragging you around in here" he said as he let my arm go. "Shutup and move" I said as Haku sent another wave of senbon at us. I groaned as a few got stuck in my legs and back. All of a sudden, a shuriken knocked Haku out of the mirror. "Narutoo !" I exclaimed happily.

He beamed at me before saying "Naruto Uzumaki is here ! Yeah, believe it !" Then he went into this big spiel about heroes, wasting time and stuff when he could've landed another attack. Then Zabuza threw some shuriken Naruto's way but Haku stopped them with his senbon needles. Sasuke and I looked at each other before at Haku in shock. "Haku. What are you doing?" "Zabuza, this boy, let me fight him my own way. Please," he said in a calm voice. Then, a kunai was thrown but Haku avoided it easily. Then he looked at me and Sasuke and told us it was a battle to the death. Sasuke and I looked at each other before changing our positions so that we could be side to side with our fists up. "Bring it" I said as Haku disappeared into the mirrors. 

Sasuke glanced at me before Haku announced he was behind us, shocking me and Sasuke with his speed. And then more Hakus appeared in the mirrors before they all started throwing senbon needles at us. We weren't able to dodge them as great as earlier because they were coming from all around. I groaned out in pain as needles found themselves embedded in my skin. I heard Sasuke groaning outloud, too. I dragged myself up to my knees, as did Sasuke with our backs facing each other. Haku then sent needles towards Sasuke and I pushed him down before laying flat down myself. But that was only for a second as I felt myself being dragged by Sasuke as needles were flung to the ground where I was just laying at.

"We need Naruto" I panted as Sasuke and I leaned against each other on the ground, pulling needles out of us. "If we attack on the inside while Naruto attacks-" "Hey, I snuck in here to save you guys" Naruto said, squatting in front of us. "Ah!!" Sasuke jumped back in surprise as I facepalmed. "Man the stupidity" I said, shaking my head as Sasuke shouted "You are a complete loser ! You're a shinobi ! Think carefully before you move!" "What is your problem ? You should thank me for coming in here to save you !" Naruto shouted back.

"Yeah ? Well save us then, bigshot. I don't get why the hell you'd come in here instead of helping from the outside!" I exclaimed. "Nami-chan, it looks like you guys needed the hep though anyways, believe it !" he said. My eye twitched as Sasuke held his arm out, talking about how he was going to destroy the mirrors. But when he used his fireball technique, it didn't work. "You'll need more than heat than that to melt this ice" Haku said as he readied more needles. Then a large amount of needles were sent towards us, hitting us and knocking us to the ground. 

Naruto summoned a lot of clones to try to help, but Haku defeated all the clones quickly and then told us that it looks like we're moving in slow motion. Naruto then gave a speech about how he doesn't care that he didn't break through Haku's jutsu and that he's not going to give up because he has a dream that he wants to accomplish. Haku combats this by saying that the ninja life is painful, and that he doesn't want to fully embrace the ninja life and kill us, but he will if we don't back down.

"Sasuke, Namiko, Naruto! Take this guy out, you can do it!" Sakura screamed to us. And then Kakashi and Zabuza started to fight. All of a sudden, I heard Sasuke yell "watch out" as he yanked me towards him. "Thanks" I said as I took a deep breath. Haku started sending a barrage of needles towards us. Naruto used his shadow clone technique to take on some of the needles, but with the amount of needles that Haku was throwing, the clones were gone with the quickness. I noticed that Sasuke was making signs for his fireball jutsu while Naruto was summoning more clones. I stood up, my body screaming in protest. I summoned chakra to my feet as I kicked a mirror. All I saw was a hairline crack, but it was better than nothing. As I summoned chakra to my feet again, a wave of needles were sent to me. I landed on my butt in pain, but scrambled back up to my feet.

Well it's not safe over there. I walked towards Naruto, who looked like he was on his last wave of energy, and stood near to him. A barrage of needles were sent towards Sasuke but he deflected them easily with a needle he picked up off the ground. "nd where was this talent earlier?" I exclaimed. Sasuke looked at me with blood red eyes, causing me to quiet instantly, making him smirk. I could tell that Haku was on edge behind Sasuke activating his sharingan. What I didn't expect was for him to send a huge barrage of needles towards Naruto. I saw Sasuke jump into action, but I was quicker. I jumped in front of Naruto, holding my arms in an X formation. By time the needles stopped, my body was trembling. The pain was extreme.

"Wh-why'd you do that ?!" Naruto yelled at me as I fell to my knees. Sasuke ran up to me. "You idiot! I know you seen me coming! Why would you do something like that ?" he yelled at me. "You don't even know me.." Naruto trailed off with tears in his eyes. I smiled before shrugging "We're friends, right?" I smiled weakly before my vision became more spotty.
