Hello, I am Bat as you all (hopefully) know.
And as you can see this is a rewrite. I have been debating about this for a long while, but I finally got the courage and did it.
In 7th grade, a friend of mine recommended Wattpad and this was the first book I ever wrote. The series was the first series I ever had.
And now, I am back six years later to re explore this series and see how my writing has improved.
Don't be afraid if you've seen the original and think it's lost forever.
It's not.
I am not changing the plots, the length of the books, title, chapter titles, covers or what happens in the chapters; I am simply improving it, to make it a better version than it was before, one I can proudly say deserves 30k views (which is insane! I have no idea how the original book got that number, thank you so much!).
I don't know if that's how rewrites work but oh well. I'm not starting from scratch, I'm sorry if that's against 'the rules'!
There will actually be two exceptions (I had written the previous part sometime at 12 in the morning);
-Chapter 7's title will be changed as two years is not accurate if Helena is 12!
-Chapter 8 will be Gotham Academy now because chapter 8 in the original book was nothing interesting. It was literally me having a random chapter with some characters from my fantasy series that I'm currently writing IRL and hope to get published someday. Don't ask, I don't know either!
-Chapter 4's title has been changed from "A Surprise Guest and the Baby Comes!!!" because, well I don't know if I'm honest lol
(Slight edit: made a poll a while back and asked if you guys still wanted the original up. You all wanted it to stay so it's still on my account. This book—and the others— however is the one that will be "advertised" in my reading list)
