Mark sighed, and opened his puffy eyes to the morning sunlight.
'What an amazing day,' He thought. 'Marty's funural is Sunday, and I have to get flowers.'
Mark pulled himself up from his bed, only to be greeted by his blank apartment wall. He ignored the familiar sight and shuffled to the shower, where he got undressed.
A quick shower should be good. I'll head down to that shop.. er what is it..?
Mark's thoughts scrambled to find the name of the small flower shop.
Nestan's Plants?
He can't think straight anyway. The muscular male finished his shower and got ready to leave.
----
Ethan was face to face with the front doors of his shop. His heart swelled with a bit of pride to see it.
Morning, shop. Heads up for another 'busy' day.
He looked down and the small dog standing next to him, to which he was greeted with a happy smile.
"Awh Spence, ready for today? I think its gonna be good." Ethan talked to the dog as he unlocked the doors, and the two went inside.
He went behind the counter first, and to the door behind it. The room back there had a pastel blue rug in the middle, and a pastel yellow couch. There were counters in the back which had dog food and treats on it, as well as a sink built into it. The drawers and cabinets held paperwork, pencils, and snacks/lunches for Ethan.
Ethan put Spencer on the large dog stand in front of the window that looked past the counter, and into the rest of the store. He put food and water into their respective bowls, pet his friend on the head, and walked back to the counter, closing the door.
Okay, just gotta tidy up and we're open! The pale boy giggled at himself while tying his apron in the back. He walked through the isles, watering the beautiful flowers.
Purple, blue, yellow, pink.. Ethan looked at all of the vibrant colors, all complimented with deep green stems and leaves. He stopped at a potted bunch, they were small purple flowers, yet they were complimented with yellow. He stared at them for a bit, before watering them and moving on.
It was now time to put on his playlist to play in the background. All of the bags of soil and the pots were in place.
Ethan walked over to the counter and plugged his phone into the store aux cord, though he smiled at his pastel yellow phone case that read "Soft boi" in a little while cloud.
The first song that came up on his Cavetown playlist was Meteor Shower, one of his older songs.
Ethan felt a huge pang of happiness as the familiar tune rang through out the store. He smiled to himself, and even started to dance to it a little bit.
"I've got miles of regrets and confusing friends, but perhaps its just my stupid head in the end."
The small boy began to rock back and forth, moving his arms as well to the beautiful beat.
"Thinking, should I wait here or make my way home?"
Ethan was full on dancing now, forgetting the world around him. His world was his music.
"You said go.. you said gooo"
He forgot the world around him, that is, until he was brought back into reality by the familiar ring of the bell that signifies when someone walks through the door.
Ethan snapped his head up to see someone standing at the door.
"..hey."
