Ethan and Mark were done crying now. The two decided to walk down the dirt road.
They left the car behind, they'd come back, obviously, but for now they just wanted to walk. They did just that, walking hand in hand, sharing earbuds. They listened to the music of the cavetown playlist, the one Ethan has told Mark about so many times.
How it was almost magical, how it was his favorite. They hummed along to the various songs, looking up at the sky and just being thankful that they had each other.
"It's you."
"It's you."
"Oh god, it's you."
"It's you."
They walked along, looking at the grass, looking at how the blades seemed to glow in the moonlight. Ethan looked up at his new partner, the one holding his hand, and took in every facial feature.
The strong jawline, the short, scruffy beard, the warm chocolate-y brown eyes. His perfect teeth, his hair, his entire face, it was gorgeous. Never, ever, in his wildest dreams did he think he would end up with this perfect man.
Mark looked right back at Ethan.
His bright green eyes, sparkled with specs of brown and gold, his bright smile, the way his hair hung over his face. His dimples, his eyelashes, the imperfect spots on his face made everything about him far more perfect then he was. Never, ever, in his wildest dreams did he think he would end up with this perfect man.
"If you're awake then I am too, if you're lost then I'll find you, if you're hurt then I'll fix you."
The two broke eye contact, still walking in comfortable silence. The cool air hugged their skin, drawing together.
"If you go blind I'll describe the view, if you can't feel then I'll hold you, If you fall know I've got you."
They hummed in tune with the song, knowing they both meant it for each other. It's funny how, once again, the song seemed to match the situation perfectly.
"But it's always been you, it's always been you, but it's always been you, it's always been you, but it's always been you, it's always been you."
They stopped at the same time, turning and facing each other. Mark grabbed Ethan's hand, and they leaned in. Their foreheads met, as they looked into each other's eyes.
"Mark, I love you."
"I love you too, Ethan."
"But it's always been you, it's always been you, but it's always been you, it's always been you, but it's always been you, it's always been you."
The End.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH IT'S OVER!
Thank you SO goddamn much for over 1k reads on my first book, it means so much holy shit. I hope you enjoyed the roller coaster that was this story.
But will it be my last?
Oh, hoh hoh hoh hoh, naive child. It shall not. You see, I am about to hit 100 followers! (I'm at 97 as of writing this)
And what better way to thank you guys, then to make an actually THOUGHT OUT Crankiplier story? Oh man!
It's been in the making for a few months, and this one will be WAY different then softie over here. The plot is being made in heavy detail, the chapters are being pre-thought out.
Moral of the story? Uh, don't wait to make a move I guess? Don't go out with someone to try and get over someone else, it doesn't work out like in this book or in movies. If you've read Hello's, you'll know I had to learn that the hard way :')
Anyways, thank you guys so, so much. I made a lil piece of art for the last chapter, I hope you enjoy. See you guys in the next one, which will come out soon after I hit 100 followers. Love you all, Stay Gay!
