"Love lost, love found"

LOVE LOST

Devastated i was losing the one close to me
In thought, in mind and in heart
Forever with you I'd imagined
Travelling the world hand in hand
Crossing every hurdles of life with a big grin on our faces
Waking up next to you till death do us part
Worshipping your forehead with a kiss at every chances I get
Oh! Our big day crossed my mind a million times
Walking down the aisle with songs of praises in my mind
Dancing hand in hand, curl up in your arm
All these and more are now memories
That'll never come to pass with you
A stranger you've become
And a past I've left behind

LOVE FOUND

I'd given up on love a long time ago
Cruising through life freelancing on unreal emotions
Many of those were based on mutual benefits
Lo and behold, I came across her mind drooling picture on my TL
At first, I scrolled past like every other pictures
But registered her handle in my head
I went back later at night only to find myself drowning in her media

"Well, omo yi o bad na" that was my thought

My mind was programmed on unlooking and move on
Little did I know she's left a desiring thirst in my mind
A desiring thirst that'll always bring me back to her page
I paid attention to her for months while denying the affection I've developed
At intervals I'll be close to hitting her up but hey I had my controls
I knew she is different and for the first time in a while having a serious relationship crossed my mind
Hard guy hard guy, little did I know love was building but I kept denying.
Finally, we spoke and it is the best feeling I've heard in a long while
Yeah, my story is touching the heart so I'll cut it short.
Its safe to say I've falling in love with her but I'm yet to confess it
Maybe I've found love again, I don't know.
Maybe it'll work, its uncertain.
Maybe shes interested in me like I am in her, who knows?
I'll shoot but hey if I perish, I perish.
But in her I've found love again.
