We never know how precious someone will be at first glance,
But it's not bad to take risk before you lose the chance.

Yeji's POV

"She said, that I'm a lost soul and only you can help me through."

She observed my reaction nervously, her eyes are shaking then a tear fell from it. A tear that carry a millions of questions and worries. The tear that was followed by more tears rolling down her cheeks. Sadness, helplessness, confusion and more emotion can be seen in her eyes but no happiness was written.

I don't know what has gotten to me but I unconsciously skip on my place closer to her and I felt my hand reach out for her face, wiping the tears. I held her cheeks, drying every trace of tears. I was looking at her eyes, all the emotions were blown away and replaced with a surprised emotion. I was surprised too, I don't know I would do such thing. I feel soft and somewhat sad seeing you vulnerable and I don't know why.

"Y-you... Y-you can touch me. Your h-hands aren't p-passing through." she said in disbelief and there I realized, she's right. I felt that her cheeks are soft and warm, I thought a ghost is cold. Pabo Yeji, she's soul not a ghost. But there's no difference. Arrrgghh. I retrieved my hand as I realized what I'm doing and look away shyly.

I still can't understand why it has to be me out of all people. I don't have any idea about the situation what you're in, so why me?

"But that doesn't mean you have to help me. I don't know what's happening and so as you, I don't how you would help me too. It'll be just burdensome if you'll help-"

"I wanna help." I cutted her off. I don't know why but I eagerly want to help her even though we both know that it'll be hard. I don't know what's this feeling that I could feel inside me but saying that I'll help her, it somehow make me feel good like eating my favorite snack.

"Are you sure?" she asked looking at me like she don't believe it. I just nodded my head and somehow was able to let out a reassuring smile.

The Girl's POV

That smile, it tells a thousand of words, "everything will be fine." "we'll make it." I didn't expect that she'll say yes about helping me.

"I'm Yeji, Hwang Yeji." she said reaching out her hands. It made me panicked internally, I don't know my name. While I was panicking, a name passed by my mind. Lia.

"Lia, that's well, I think I remember." I smiled and shooked her hand. She then looked at me curiously like I don't know?

"That's your name?" she asked.

"I actually don't know, it just passed by my head so let's just assume that that's my name. You don't like the name?"

Yeji's POV

"N-no. I mean it's fine." I said. It's just, I think I heard the name from someone but I don't remember who. It won't help anyways since she's not sure if that's her name.

My phone vibrated indicating I received a message. I took my phone from the pocket of my hoodie. The message reads,

From:
Butler Kim

Miss, your parents are now looking for you. You'll now have your dinner. Would you want me to get you?

To:
Butler Kim

I'm fine. I'll be right there
in a few minutes.

I replied then put it back in my pocket. I look at Lia who's already looking at me. I could feel my cheeks burning up so I looked away.
