SPECIAL 3

Kongpob stirred in his sleep. He was feeling uncomfortable and felt pain in his abdomen, he tried to ignore it but it was getting hard for him to stay quiet.

Kongpob opened his eyes slowly and took deep breaths. He could feel kicks from the baby on his wall. Kongpob groaned as he felt the contraction hit him but it soon disappeared.

He looked at his side and saw the timepiece showing that it was 4 in the morning.

Kongpob tried to sit up but his back was aching as if a metal rod hit his backbones. His eyes started to get misty, he knew what was going to happen.

Kongpob with aching back turned towards Arthit who was fast asleep like a log and shook him.

"P...Arthit...wa..wake..up," Kongpob groaned aloud when the contraction hit him again. He knew it.

Kongpob shook Arthit with his shaking hands but the latter only stirred and went back to sleep.

Kongpob groaned, he held his stomach as he felt kicks accompany the contraction he was having. He could feel slick leaking on his groin.

Kongpob had enough of this, the contraction disappeared but he knew it'll come back soon. Moreover, his limbs were aching along with his back. He was getting cramps.

Kongpob shook Arthit one last time before he exploded, "Fucking Arthit Rojnapath! If you don't wake up now you are no longer my husband you idiot!"

Arthit's eyes widened as he covered his ears at the loud scream. He stood up like a flash and his breath hitched when he saw Kongpob sitting on the bed, holding his belly with tears falling from his eyes.

"Kong! What happened?" Arthit went beside his husband and held his arms.

Kongpob looked at Arthit and screamed when another contraction hit him, this time it was worse.

"Arthit! It's time!" Kongpob breathed.

Arthit's eyes widened, "But...the due date is not until next two weeks."

"I know! But we have to hurry! It's too much!" Kongpob screamed.

Suddenly the bedroom door opened wide with Arthit's mother and father along with Lia.

"Oon, what happened? We heard Kongpob cry," David asked concerned.

"Pa, he's..." Arthit couldn't complete what he was about to say when Kongpob screamed again.

Priya's eyes widened when she registered what was happening. He rushed to Kongpob and held his hand, tears were falling from Kongpob's eyes non-stop.

"Arthit! We need to go to the hospital! Now!" Priya shouted.

Arthit was in a daze, he wanted to walk but his limbs didn't move. The sight of Kongpob clutching his belly and screaming stirring his mind.

"Daddy! Go!" Lia pulled her father's hands when she saw him not moving.

Lia dragged Arthit towards the living room to take the car keys.

"Dad! Stop being a statue! We need to help Mom!" Lia shouted at her dad.

Arthit nodded his head before he heads out to bring the car.

On the other hand, Priya and David helped Kongpob to walk out of the room, great that they shifted to the ground floor so Kongpob didn't have to climb downstairs.

"Oh no!!! Mae! It hurts!" Kongpob screamed.

"I know dear, please endure it. We'll get you to the hospital soon," Priya tried to comfort her son-in-law.
