Walking up to the house together, hand in hand, I say to my husband, "It's so quiet, I wonder what the kids are up to. Guess I'd better check on them."

He nods and replies with a smirk, "And I better go get my ring. Meet you in the shower in about 5 minutes?"

Nodding at him, I give Dan a quick kiss and then head into the house to go get some clothes for us.

A hot shower sounds wonderful and even better with the man I have loved my entire life. Things are getting better each day that we go without power. At this point, I hope it never turns back on. We have not been like this with each other in years, and I do not want things to go back to the way they were.

Entering the house, I find there is a line for the shower already. Lori and Avery look very impatient as they wait by the side door. Guess ours will have to wait until later. Both of them have a towel in hand and someone is already in there taking their turn. Knowing Lilith, she is probably the one and uses up all the hot water.

Turning around, I see my son and he looks annoyed.

"Mom, do I have to shower? I was just in the lake so I'm clean." Luke says.

He then asks, "Hey where did you go?"

Thinking for a second, I reply, "I'm sorry, baby, I had to take care of something. We will go swimming tomorrow, I promise."

Avery smiles at me, and I have a feeling he knows. Then Lori giggles. So I now believe Lilith may have told them what we were up to in the tent.

Living in close quarters is going to suck if they react this way every single time, I have sex with my husband.

Looking around, I don't see Talion waiting for a shower, so maybe he's in there.

"Hey Lori, where is your brother?" I ask, and she laughs.

"Um, you should know, Cecelia." She answers and they both laugh even harder.

Looking at these two, I say, "Oh, grow up... Where is Ella?"

Shaking their heads, I walk out of the room to find my daughter. As I call her name, Ella does not answer, and this worries me. After checking the kitchen, family room, and then the dining room, she is nowhere to be found. Glancing at the staircase, I decided to go up.

Opening the door to our room, Ella is on my bed, sleeping. She's all curled up and has Dan's wedding band on her thumb. Seeing this puts my mind at ease, knowing that it was definitely my husband who just made mad passionate love to me.

Deep down I knew the truth, but now, I just feel so much better. Why would I even think that Talion would try something like that on me? My God, he has been here for only a few hours and I am already thinking the worst of him. Maybe I'm becoming just as paranoid as everyone else around here.

Getting some clothes for us, I quietly step back out of the room and shut the door. Turning around, I see Talion in the playroom with the door wide open. He's only wearing a pair of boxers and searching the room for something.

Clearing my throat, so that he knows I'm here, Talion says, "Hey there baby, want to go another round on the pool table?"

Stunned with sheer panic, I say, "What... What are you talking about?"

Turning toward my bedroom door, I quickly run back in, feeling like I'm about to vomit.

Oh God, what did I do? No, this cannot be happening. Why would he trick me this way? Looking at Ella sleeping so peacefully, I have such anguish and feel so sick.
