"Ezequiel, I've been looking everywhere for you."

The young man turned to the familiar voice before resuming his original position. Back straight, fingers crossed, head held high. He let his gaze lose itself in the resplendent sight of Earth. Zolan smiled before taking a seat next to Ezequiel. He was silent and in turn admired the wonder that stretched out under their feet. Zolan ended up taking a deep breath.

"When I come here I understand why some of us decide to stay and live there like ordinary humans.

-It's wonderful.

-Much better than the view from the clear room. Every time I want to cough just seeing all that smoke. "

Zolan turned to his friend

."I was surprised when I heard the news."

He waited a few moments in case Ezequiel had something to add but as always he didn't. So he continued.

"You've always found terrestrials interesting after all. You've spent many nights with your head in books studying their history."Ezequiel nodded."But you're not one of the explorers or the grinders or even the transmitters. I don't understand what mission they might have given you."

Ezequiel didn't answer.

"What are you going to do on Earth for the next year?

-I do not know.

-You spent two hours talking with the Grand Tade. Don't tell me he hasn't talked about your mission once. "

Ezequiel shook his head.

"What have you been doing for so long then?

-We discussed the details of my stay.

-But not of the mission?

-But not of the mission.

-Who else will go down with you?

-Nobody.

-Nobody?

-I am the only one able to fulfill the mission. If I need any help concerning human life I would just have to turn to our local colleagues. But so that I don't need it I will be entitled to crash training in regards of the basics that I will need.

- Do you know what that reminds me of? "

Zolan didn't wait for the answer this time.

"Kieran. Or I don't know what he calls himself down there."

Ezequiel smiled.

"We can feel that you are one of the diggers."

Zolan smiled in return.

"I only live for my role, sorry. I even dream of it. I have no second of peace.

-Your mind must be worrying.

-You can't even imagine. "

They smiled.

"But still. My anger is understandable. This demon is so strong that he even managed to escape the Four Mountains. When I think he's living a good life on Earth I ..."

He groaned before sighing.

"If you find him kill him for me."

Ezequiel nodded.

"Does he really believe that if he stays in hiding for ages he's going to be forgiven for his behavior? These demons are really amazing.

-I don't think I'm wrong if I say that Kiéran is not really a demon. He was one of us in the past. "
