Five demons escorted me upstairs to the VIP room where the owner was. As I left I heard the music pick up again and very quickly it was as if I hadn't even been there. The demons who surely wanted to make their leader proud by bringing me to them forced me to kneel in front of him which did not please me. I sat up as much as possible to see who I was dealing with. In front of me was a being at least two meters tall, with broad shoulders and starless black hair. He wore a very classy suit and crossed his legs with his back straight. I could see he was powerful and confident.

I was huffing. Of course I was never sent to kill the demons who had money and power ... The rich demon looked at me from head to toe before nodding to let me go. With that the hands that gripped me released me immediately and walked out of the room.

I got up and dusted my pants. With that I turned on my heels determined to find my target but very quickly I felt lifted off the ground and as if I was flying I found myself pulled towards the central demon. He put me back on the ground unceremoniously in front of him and looked me straight in the eye with that famous dark and penetrating gaze that I couldn't stand. It looked like it was empty. He smiled amusedly.

"Where do you think you're going like this? We have only just met. "

I shrug my shoulders.

"I don't really have time. I have to go shopping. "

He laughed.

"That's a shame. I would have liked to know what a human came to do in my nightclub.

-I was coming to dance. "

He raised a curious eyebrow.

"Oh is that so? You don't seem to me to be the kind of person who indulges in clubs though. "

I shrug my shoulders again.

"Everyone has their own preconceptions.

-Oh, because you have prejudices about me?

-Like everyone else.

-I see."

I didn't like the way he spoke to me at all. He was far too serene and amused. Like a predator who was convinced that his prey was already dead. I was not going to let myself be charmed.

"Judging by the dagger you're hiding in your bag, it wouldn't be an assumption to say that you came here with an idea in mind."

He paused.

"Am I wrong?"

I had a small smile.

"Not bad for a demon."

He laughed in turn.

"I have to admit that you are brave for a human. Or completely crazy.

- Both suit me.

-I guess you don't know who I am.

-Maybe so.

-Oh yeah?"

He backed up in his chair.

"I would have killed you but I'm much more curious about how you're going to get out of the nightclub with all these demons around you.

-A child's play. I entered after all. You should review security. "

He nodded.

"In this case I offer you a bet.

-A bet?

-If you can get out of here then I'll grant you a wish. As you must know, a demon cannot break a promise made to a human.
