Chapter 7- A new friend part 2

Everyone remains silent as they stare up at where Andrea and I are currently standing. It makes me feel awkward and uncomfortable also confused. I can tell Andrea is feeling just as awkward. Wow. This isn't the best way to greet a new friend. It's actually kind of rude. I mean...I would hate being stared at by total strangers who are acting like I just told them I was a psychopathic murderer who came to kill them.

"Hey Kian." Andrea says awkwardly with a small wave. I turn to look at her for a few seconds leaving my thoughts behind, then turn back to Kian.

How did he know her name? How did she know his? Maybe it was a lucky guess? I doubt it. Maybe she just watches his videos. the way they look at each other though..makes it seem like something more. Do they have some sort of past? If so what is it? Maybe they're old friends or....more? I need to stop asking myself these questions since I obviously can't answer.

"Do you two know each other or something?" I ask hoping for a simple answer such as, yeah we used to go to school together, Or something along those lines but, neither Kian nor Andrea say a word.

"Oh, they know each other." Sam says with a smirk earning a slap in the back of the head from Jc.

I glance at Sam now even more,confused. Jc gets up as if casually walking towards the kitchen but he brushes past me muttering "She's his ex." Only loud enough for me to hear. He then continues to the kitchen.

I look back up at Kian, the only thing possible that I could get to come out of my mouth is "Oh."

I realize I'm gonna have to say something more since I seem like the only one willing to talk. "I uhm..I didn't know." I say even though that's pretty damn obvious.

"How did you two uhm...meet?" Kian asks speaking for the first time since we got here. "She almost hit me in the face with a door." I tell him truthfully I see Andrea out of the corner of my eye giving a nod to confirm my answer.

"What about you two?" Andrea asks causing both Kian and my attentions to turn to her. "I fell on her at the beach." Kian tells her before I get to. I think about both these answers and figure out that they both sound ridiculous but they're both true.

"And your dating now?" She asks.

I quickly shake my head. "no." I answer quietly. "We're just friends." I hear kian tell her I look up at him and realize he hasn't been able to take his eyes off of her. I look at both at them and can just tell by their eyes that they were in love. This makes me a little jealous but unlike most girls would be I'm not COMPLETELY jealous. I'm more full of wonder as to why they ever broke up. But this clearly isn't the time for that question.

"I think I should go." Andrea says already walking to the front door.

"Yeah you should." Kian says causing me to jerk my head back to him. That was extremely rude I mean yeah, she's his ex but he didn't have to be a Dick about it...unless she cheated on him or something but she doesn't seem like that type of person, but then again I've only known her a day. Kian walks off down the hallway towards his room I listen as his door slams shut.

I turn to Allison. "Will you go wait with her? I'm gonna go talk to Kian." She nods following Andrea out of the house.

I go down the hallway to Kian's room. I knock on the door. I hear someone walking towards it, then it swings open causing me to flinch. "What." He says rudely before he realizes it's me. His eyes soften and he let's me in.

We sit on his bed in silence for a while him just staring off into space and me waiting for him to say something, anything.

"Will you stay? Here? With me? "I'll take you home later." He asks. Which isn't what I was expecting but I agree.
