I was helping Kacy take care of Shivers the next day after the pirate attack. Not going to lie, I was a little scared to be out in the open to work again but Daisy was about to have us on lockdown to ensure our safety for 2 weeks! I could never do that, so I made sure to NOT tell her or Gambit about Zane knowing my identity. That would cause a panic, and Zane seems trustworthy enough to keep a secret...right???

"Alright guys, gather around here!" Larry calls everyone over. Daisy and Gambit come over to me to stand by as I stood with Kacy.
"Alright, is everyone here? Good. So Ninjago High School asked for us to bring in some animals and talk about them in front of their Zoology, Anatomy, and Biology class. What I need, are a few of you guys to volunteer to go speak at the school. But, you must have a great knowledge on animals. Let me know by the end of the day, because the lucky few will be their guest speakers all next week. Thank you for your time, that is all." Larry explains the plan for the school. Ooh, talk about animals to other people? I would so love to do that, but Daisy would never let me...

"Hey princess..." Daisy whispered into my ear.

"Yes, Daisy?" I replied.

"If you really want to go, Gambit and I will sign up with you so you're not alone." She offers.

"And so we can keep you out of trouble, princess." Gambit finishes explaining. My eyes lit up and I gasped in shock of their kind gesture. I nodded.

"I'll go sign us up!" I exclaimed while rushing over to Larry, a tall man with short brown locks and a stubby beard. His eyes brightened when I approached him.

"Ah, Y/n. I hope you're here to sign up for the guest speaker job next week?" He asks with a big smile on his face. I nodded.

"Yeah, and so does Daisy and Gambit. They want to sign up too with me." I added on while pointing to my friends behind me. He nodded and smiled.

"I was hoping you would sign up. You're a perfect fit for the job." He compliments me while putting our names down on a clipboard he was holding. I pushed my braid back.

"Oh, thank you sir! This means a lot to me." I thanked him while clasping my hands together. He smirked and looked me up and down.

"No problem, Y/n. Oh and, call me Larry. You don't have to be so formal with me." He said while biting his lip, looking down and up, and meeting my gaze again to wave and leave. Such odd behavior...maybe it's normal with humans...oh well. I turn on my heel and go to meet with my friends.

"So, are we in?" Daisy asks while crossing her arms. I nodded and smiled.

"All three of us are in for the guest speaking job next week!" I cheered happily while bouncing up and down.

"Alright alright princess, sometimes your bubbly personality can be too much." Gambit said to calm me down. I nodded and relaxed a bit.

"We'll see you at the end of our shift, do you wanna go home or do something else after work?" Daisy asks. I furrow my brows.

"Could we get changed at home then go out for dinner? Some noodles would sound great." I suggested while gesturing to my stomach. They both chuckled.

"Oh yes! The noodle house! I'd love to go back there!" Gambit persisted for me while gesturing to his stomach. Daisy rolled her eyes and laughed.
