Huh?...

I kept my puzzled gaze on the rose haired woman standing before me. She had her brows raised and a genuine look of concern on her face. I cleared my throat to speak.

"H-how do you know my name?" I stuttered while tugging on my newly grown hair. She gently smiled and inched closer.

"Your friend asked me to check on you, he was concerned and so were the others." She replied while gesturing to the door. Wait, who sent her? Was it Zane? He seems like a nice guy to do that...

"Oh, um, thank you..." I said while trailing off, hoping she will say her name.

"Skylor. I served your table about 10 minutes ago?" She reminded me with a small smirk. I chuckled anxiously and played with my hair more.

"Oh! Right! I'm sorry." I apologized anxiously as my heart started beating 100mph. Wow, talking to humans about how you're doing is difficult.

"Its okay, as long as you're alright. Remember, you always have a friend here in the noodle house. And you seem to have good friends too who are looking out for you." She encouraged me while taking a few more steps closer. I smiled and nodded.

"Thank you, Skylor. I feel loads better now." I gently stated as she put a supportive hand on my shoulder. We both shared a smile and I took a deep breath.
"I, uh, better go back out to uh, eat." I muttered while leaving the bathroom. She chuckled and let me leave. When I was out of the bathroom I caught the ninja's gaze. Especially Cole's. His expression was probably the most genuine concerned look I've ever gotten from someone. It helped me reassure myself that, I guess I'm not completely alone. Hmm, that actually makes me feel better. I sat down back at my table and they both gave me disappointed stare.

"What did you do this time?" Daisy asked in an agitated tone. You fuckin serious?

"Don't tell me you've blown our cover." Gambit complains while covering his face with his hands. I huffed and rolled my eyes.

"I didn't do anything, thanks for asking how I'm doing by the way." I sarcastically replied with sass. Daisy widened her eyes and stiffened.

"What did you just say to me, princess?" She asked in an irritated tone. Her face was growing red from the anger. If she doesn't calm down in the next 5 minutes, the whole restuarant will be in flames. Guess I'll have to apologize for something I didn't do, AGAIN.

"It was nothing, I'm sorry." I squeaked as the fire in her eyes died out. Gambit shook his head in disappointment with a sigh. Maybe going out wasn't the best idea in the end... I hung my head over, ashamed of myself and our behavior in public. This is so embarrassing, and it's not even my fault! Well, at least not completely...

🌕🌕🌕🌕

Our food finally arrived and we ate in silence. All I want to do is eat, go home, and then go cry in my treehouse. At least the forest would comfort me better than Gambit or Daisy ever could. Don't get me wrong, I love them with all my heart but they're just too much for me now. It's been over 3 months. Three. Months! And still no word on whether this werewolf situation has been handled or not? I don't know how much more of this I can take...

"How are your meals this evening?" Skylor asks while placing a hand on the table. She looks around to all 3 of us. We met her gaze and nodded. I went to open my mouth to give her a compliment, but Gambit beat me to it.

"We all think your noodles are the best. Can you send the check our way, please?" He compliments her while wiping his mouth with a napkin. I pouted and leaned back in my chair discretely. Skylor nodded and then left to do her job.
