(Joey's POV)
**One week later**
I sit down at the table, next to Jesse, and we hold hands. I look at him, and he looks back at me, it's time to tell the girls... well, Steph and DJ anyway, Michelle's just a baby. Danny is holding Michelle, and Steph and DJ are sitting across from Jesse and I.
"What did you want to tell us Joey?" DJ asks.
"DID YOU BUY US NEW TOYS?!" Steph squeals.
Jesse laughs, "no Steph, there are other things in life that aren't toys"
"Then what did you make us come in here for?" Steph asks.
"Well... Jesse and I are... umm... in love..." I tell the girls.
DJ stands up and runs around to our side of the table, hugging Jesse and I.
"I'm so happy for you guys!" DJ says happily.
Danny notices Steph hasn't moved. We notice she looks confused.
"What's wrong Steph?" Jesse asks.
"It's just... I thought only boys and girls could be in love..." She says.
"Well honey, anybody can fall in love, being a boy or girl doesn't matter" Danny tells her.
"Okay, can I go play now?" Stephanie asks.
Danny nods, "sure Steph"
She stands up and runs to Jesse and I, hugging us both before running up the stairs.
"That went better than expected" Danny says as Michelle starts to get fussy.
"I better go lay her down for a nap" he says, standing up and walking out of the room.
I turn to Jesse, and whisper, "I love you so much Jesse..."
"I love you too Joey..." he whispers back, and we share a gentle kiss.
