So through the many fanfics I have read I have grown a new pet peeve.
DO NOT USE THE WORD ORBS
I don't care if you are writing to make the mood appear romantic. No just No.
It kind of creeps me out.
The word is EYES
FUCKING EYES NOT ORBS!
Story time!
So I was reading a fanfic (it shall not be named) and it was really good. To the point where I am getting all emotional and crying and yelling at my phone. (Don't judge we've all been there)
But I had to stop reading because this girl did not know how to use the word eyes.
Legit almost every sentence had the word orbs. In fanfic it is seriously overused.
But she would not stop using it. I swear every comment on her story was "Stop using the word orbs" or " they're called eyes"
Girl I know you see these comments listen to them for gods sakes not even for the sake of my sanity.
And I was angry I had to stop reading.
But that's the reality of it.
Story time over!
The word orbs should be banned FOREVER!
