Chapter 4: Do you believe in unicorns?

"What do you mean dead?" I glared at Kyung Soo who claims to be D.O. now.

"We'll talk in the morning. You must rest." He said with a firm tone.

"Not until I know why I'm supposed to be dead?! Tell me the truth NOW!" I can't help but stomp my feet in frustration. I waited for him to answer but he just coldly turned his gaze to Tao as if he didn't hear me.

"Great job Tao. I assume you have learned your lesson now." He patted Tao's shoulder and Tao seems to be pleased with it. If he had a tail, I bet you can see it wagging.

"Hey!" I called them out. "I'm talking to you!!!" I'm so furious that I didn't even know that my temper can heighten up to another level.

But he seems unfazed with my outburst because he still kept on wearing that cold veneer while approaching me. He's like a ghost.

"Ms. Lee, believe me,we want this to be over as soon as possible but we know we caused you anxiety on the on set. My apologies. We can continue this conversatioin tomorrow after you have your rest. You may use the main bedroom so you'll be more comfortable." He said all this like it was rehearsed and it frustrated me all the more.

"Ha! Then what will you do when I sleep?! Slice my brain open?! Offer me as sacrifice?! No way that I'm sleeping here with weirdos like you!" My chest rose up and down because of fury.

"Tea?" Suddenly a blonde-haired guy appeared beside me. His dimples clearly in sight and seems to be brightening up the intense atmosphere. Where did he came from?! And what is this sudden feeling of serenity? I'm supposed to be angry as hell now.

He held up the hot cup of tea again.

"C'mon. Try it." He urged softly. If I'm not dead tired and freaked out, I'd probably took the cup without hesitation. But we're talking about freaks here. I opened my mouth to say something but no words came out. What is happening?!

"I'm Lay by the way." He said, showing his dimples. "Why don't you take a seat first so you can enjoy the tea."

"N-n-no!" I finally succeeded to utter a word. "Get that away from me!" I slapped the hot drink from Lay.

CRASH!!!

"AAAH!" I screamed holding my hand that got burned with my angry move.

Everyone started to go towards me but was stopped by Lay. He made a simple nod as if signaling something.

"Tsk. Tsk. You should control that temper of yours. See you hurt yourself." He smiled again. Does this person even frown?!

"Here let me help you." He slowly reached out to my burned hand and placed his left hand above it. I wanted to stop him but I was also curious on what he was about to do.

His expression suddenly changed. His gaze became focused and made a soft swipe in the air.

"There! Good as new!"

I looked down and saw the redness of my hand all gone! I removed from his grasp and inspected it again. How is that possible?!

I looked up to him in amazement. "H-h-ow did you do that?"

Once again that bright smile. "Do you believe in unicorns?"

"What?"

"It's about time you do."

He placed his hands on my shoulder and I felt a pinch. My sight instantly became blurry and my knees turned to jelly.

"Good night our Sun."

BLACK OUT.
