'𝙸𝚝'𝚜 𝚊𝚕𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚢 𝚋𝚎𝚎𝚗 𝟽 𝚖𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚑𝚜, 𝚒𝚝 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚏𝚒𝚗𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚖𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚐𝚘 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝙶𝚊𝚛𝚛𝚒𝚜𝚘𝚗.' I thought to myself.

I started packing up my things like clothes, my laptop, my phone , my hairbrush and..A picture of my family...with my mom still in the picture. My eyes watered a bit, remembering my mother. I missed her. We all did. Sometimes I felt like I was at blame for all of this, even when I knew I wasn't.

I then walked out of my room wearing a {F/c} T-shirt , a pair of jeans and a pair of {F/c} converse sneakers.

"Hey dad," I smiled and threw my messenger bag over my shoulder "I'm ready to go." I said walking to island in the kitchen.

Dad turned back so he was looking at me. "You look great {Y/n} . I know you'll become a great hero one day." I smiled at him and went to hug him. "I love you dad." "I love you too {Y/n}." 

Jack and Aimee ran into the kitchen with their bags too. "Where are you guys going?" I asked them both and shot them a confused look.

"Oh yeah..." Aimee said, smirking and looking at Jack. "We forgot to tell you, huh?" I gave them a confused look, wondering what they meant and why the hell they were looking at each other like that. "Surprise. We got into the Garrison too!" 

I ran to the both of them and gave them big hugs. "That's awesome! So you'll be there to adventure with me!" I looked at the clock and realized that we had to get to the Garrison in not too long.

"Get in the car you three, you've got a world of adventures to get to." Dad said putting on his jacket and opening the door for us.

Jack, Aimee and I ran to the car and jumped into our seats and shoving our bags in the trunk then putting on our seat belts impatiently.

 Dad sat in the front seat and put his jacket in the passenger's seat.

We all put on our headphones and listened each to our own music on our phones, while dad played his music, rock as always.
