Carmelo still screaching. Tobias took the time to hide. Tobias hid behind a bush that was behind a tree. He heard Carmelo stop screaming and tell at emilio. "What the fuck man!!! " Carmelo yelled. Emilio shrugged and retreated back to his note book. "Carmelo language" Dino said in a mature monotone voice. Rudolph burst into laughter. Tobias stayed hidden but giggled at the sight. Just then Carmelo heard Tobias giggle. And he swore to god that someone had empaled his heart. Rudy went back into the cave to grab some pebbles. Dino started a conversation with Emilio and Carmelo inched closer to Tobias's hiding spot. Just then Rudy came out with a pile of pebbles and started to attack Carmelo with them. " Rudy stop!!!! " Carmelo screamed running around to avoid all of the pebbles. Tobias realized that his hiding spot had been discovered ((𝚊 𝚋𝚘𝚍𝚢 𝚑𝚊𝚜 𝚋𝚎𝚎𝚗 𝚍𝚒𝚜𝚌𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚎𝚍! 𝙾𝚔𝚊𝚢 𝙸'𝚕𝚕 𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚟𝚎)) so while Carmelo wasn't looking he ran back into the cave. Rudolph threw his last pebble and booked it towards Dino and Emilio. Carmelo grunted and sighed he went back to tobias's old hiding spot and saw he wasn't there. He looked around before giving up.
The sky was turning orange to signify it is now noon. The little team of children made there way out of the woods and all sperated to go home. Each of them had an excuse besides Carmelo and tobias. So on the way back to carmelo's house they thought of a worthy excuse to tell carmelo's mom. " Carmelo. " Tobias said. Which Carmelo only hummed in response. " You remember the day at the hospital. " He asked. Carmelo nodded. " Well... I wanted to thank you for potentially saving my life" Tobias said as he looked directly into carmelo's Navy blue eyes. "You don't have to-" Carmelo said but he was caught off guard by Tobias pulling the collar of his coat down to face level. And a soft pair of lips on his own. Shocked at first Carmelo slowly melted into the kiss‚ he wrapped his arms around tobias's waist and Tobias had his hands cupped on carmelo's cheeks.
