You guys officially made it to the end of Son of the Sun!

I'd first like to start off with talking about that whirlwind of an ending. Though it broke my heart to write, I felt like it was definitely necessary to end it the way that I did. On the one hand, death was a reality for many Indigenous cultures as well as the people during the atrocious times of colonization, but on the other, love survived, and some of our people survived to pass on as much as they could. Kanan and Veliane may not have survived physically, but they did spiritually, and I wanted that shown.

Secondly, I want to thank every single one of you for this journey. It has been amazing and seeing everyone's support on this story means everything to me. The comments, the votes, the reads, I can't describe how much this means to me. Thank you guys so much! Anyone who reads my stories after this one- I love you so much and you're amazing.
