the day that changed everything...

chapter siX

~Dreamland~

I was in my happy place. A big tulip field literally in the middle of nowhere. The sun was beaming on my face and I felt like all my worries were gone. As I soaked in the open air I saw from the corner of my eye a familiar person also walking along the tulips.

It was Tom Holland. He had a sun kissed face and also taking in the fresh air. He looked in my direction and we made eye contact. He beamed a big, sweet smile to me. I did so in return. We started to walk closer together, not looking away. We were so close... maybe a few feet before touching when all of a sudden a shot was heard and a bullet pierced right into Toms stomach. Blood splattered out and he collapsed to the floor.

I yelled and cried out to him but I couldn't hear my own voice.... I sprinted to him but again I was in slow motion. I glimpsed up and the whole sky got covered in this black dust and I suddenly tripped on something and right before i hit the ground-

-I awoke with a start. I sat up from a hospital bed and was out of breath. As my eyes adjusted, they began filling up with tears and I started crying. I lied back down and looked around. One nurse walked by and saw I was awake. She sped up her pace and grabbed another doctor who then slowly walked in.

"Hello y/n. I am Dr. Steve Stevens but you can call me Stevie. I was walking around the lobby when I saw you standing there and you face was drained. And then I saw you collapse on the ground-"

"Yes i sorta remember!" I interrupted. It was a bad memory. "Sorry.. I just don't want to be reminded of it that's all."

"Yes of course ms. y/n. We have contacted your parents. They should be here soon and don't worry, I'll tell them everything so you don't have to."

Even though that was supposed to make me feel better, it didn't. I wanted to tell my parents everything from my point of view or leave some parts out... maybe not even tell them idk!! It's all overwhelming.

"Now I will come back here in a few minutes. I'll be on a look out for your parents and leave you some alone time." And with that, Stevie got up from his chair, walked out the room, and slid the door closed slowly.

After a few minutes of me just lying there in my thoughts, it occurred to me... how was tom? What happened to him? Where was he?..Then the worst the thought I could ever think came into my mind. .

Is he even still alive. . . .
