The Day Before the Exam

Trucy's POV

I'm lying here in my bed, it's been only a day since Athena and I went to see Detective Gumshoe. He was doing fine yesterday, however, what I didn't expect was to be pulled over by a man in a purplish-blue suit, who I now know by the name of Kristoph Gavin. Ever since yesterday, I've been getting messages from an unknown sender, until Mr. Coward, Miss Sam's dad who also said that it was Kristoph. What's scared me the most was the threat that was made yesterday towards Miss Kat. It wasn't any normal threat, no, it was a death threat. Kristoph was threatening to kill Miss Kat. As I was deep in thought my phone buzzed, I was thrown out of my thoughts and grabbed my phone rubbing the sleep from my eyes and checked the message. It was from Gumshoe. It didn't surprise me that he was up this early, I opened the message and read what it said, "Hey Trucy, I have a couple of questions about tomorrow. Please meet me in the Detention Center in the Visitors Room. I'll be waiting for you." I reread the message, it sounded like how Gumshoe would write, but I couldn't be too sure. Closing the message from Gumshoe, I opened the one to Polly. I wrote, "Hey Polly, it's me. I just got another message from Gumshoe. He's asking to meet again. You wanna come with me?" Ten minutes passed and still no response from Polly, I opened daddy's messages and sent the same thing to him. Another ten minutes passed, and no response from him either. Since I was 16 I was able to make decisions on my own, I got out of bed and got dressed and immediately set out for the Detention Center. When I arrived it seemed as if there was nobody there, it wasn't completely dark, because there were people on duty including Gumshoe who I had to meet in the Visitor's Room. It hadn't struck me as odd that he wanted to meet there, so I entered and waited... and waited... and waited. Until finally the door opened and Gumshoe walked in.

???'s POV

Thanks to Gumfuck, he left his tan trenchcoat here on accident and as a bonus, the keys were inside. Someone needs to fire him for being so careless. Oh well, I should be on my way to the Visitor's Room to meet with young Trucy to get the information I need on tomorrow. I slip on the coat and unlock my cell and exit the cell remembering to relock it. I check my watch, I have tops thirty minutes to get the information I need out of her. Thanks to the hall still being dark I made to the Visitor's Room undiscovered. I opened the door and entered closing the door and sit down across from her. "So young Trucy, tomorrow do you know what car she'll be in?" She immediately responded with, "Yeah, Polly's picking up all three of the sisters in his car." I smiled, "Alright next question. Please clarify to me who will be attending to see her to the exam, Pal?" I mentally cringed upon saying that. It didn't roll off the tongue well. To my surprise, she responded with the list of Gumshoe, Phoenix, Apollo, two girls named Sam and Dani, Kat, and... Klavier. Curses. If I show up with him there he'll be able to spot me easily I have to get him out of the picture too now. It annoys me that I now have to remove him from the picture. Hearing Trucy snapped me out of my thoughts when she asked, "Gumshoe are you alright?" I smiled and replied, "Yeah, just thinking of my next questions that's all. Speaking of the question. Do you happen to know the time of her exam?" Once again she stated in a matter of fact tone, "Sometime around 1:30." She's so naive, I smiled and said, "Thank you for clarifying young Trucy. Now I must be getting back to work." I stand up, turning around and leave back to my cell. Young naive Trucy also leaves as well.

Apollo's POV

I woke up stretching and yawning due to my alarm went off like usual around 9 am. Rolling over I grabbed my phone and saw that there was a message from Trucy, I opened the message and read it. "SHOOT!!!!" I immediately got up and got dressed and jumped onto the Instagram chat we have set up with Mr. Coward and his daughters who are going to be joining us.
