"Why do you have to be here?" Hallie asked Ethan when she saw him enter Justice's house.

You could tell that he was surprised to see her there. "Because I chose to stalk you..." He rounded the corner on his way to the living room and she followed because she wanted Naomi's support. "Hey, Dianna," he said to the red head who was sitting between Justice and Naomi. She jumped up to hug him and they started talking.

"So how do they know each other?" Hallie asked Justice, not wanting him to be excluded since it was his party after all.

"Oh, they're siblings."

"Of course they are." She dismissed herself to the kitchen, leaving Naomi and him alone to talk. She grabbed a beer and started chugging, it was going to be a long night.

A couple of other people came, making it so she wasn't forced to interact with Ethan. The party was small though, and by eleven most of the people had left.

Hallie stood on the small balcony, staring at the city lights.

"What are you still doing here?" Ethan asked, peeking his head out before coming outside.

"I could ask you the same thing."

"My sister disappeared with Justice and Naomi and she'd kill me if I left without saying goodbye."

"Too personal."

"You asked."

"Naomi took my keys so I'm not driving drunk and like you said, now they've vanished. But I really don't want to break them up."

"Oh no, definitely not. But, that's just because my sister is there."

They tried to laugh, but it ended up being forced.

"So, we're going to be stuck here for a while, wanna get drunk?" Ethan asked.

"I think that's the best suggestion you've ever had."

They started drinking and within an hour they were talking nonstop.

"So, if you could force fate to give you someone specific, who would you pick?"

"I guess I'd choose Chris Hemsworth. I mean, they'd have to put so much makeup on him to cover up my tattoos and I think that would make Thor even more awesome. You?"

"I mean even though Chris Hemsworth is a beyond valid choice, I'd probably choose Emma Watson."

"Oh yes, Hermione Granger. I have no problems with that."

"But instead we have no one." He meant to whisper it, but it came out loud and full of pain. Instead of being able to yell at fate for making a mistake of the choice and changing it, they just needed fate to make a choice already.

"Yep, we're the forgotten ones."

"Well, although I love this pity party, I think it's time for me to go." Ethan stood up, barely able to walk as he ran right into the glass door. She laughed as a purple bruise appeared on his forehead, right above his eyebrow.

"Oh no you don't, that's what couches are for." She dragged him to the couch and meant to go yell at Naomi for her keys, but that didn't end up happening.

-----------------------------------------

"I didn't think I'd ever see this day," Naomi whispered as she saw the two cuddled up on the pull-out couch. Hallie was a light sleeper and so she started stirring as the three of them watched them sleep.

"Ugh, this hangover..." Hallie whispered as she sat up in bed. The three of them dispersed so it didn't look like they were watching them. Hallie opened up her eyes and they basically bugged out of her head. "Nope nope nope." She bolted up and away from the still asleep Ethan. "Naomi!" she whisper screamed as she ran into the other room to find her best friend.

"Yesss?" she answering, trying to act oblivious to what had happened.

"You let me drunkenly sleep with him?" She was extremely angry at her best friend, who knew her system of not ever sharing a bed for more than thirty minutes... an hour occasionally.

"He didn't do anything, you were both fully clothed."

"I know but I legitimately SLEPT with him. I never do that! I don't care if we fooled around, but we cuddled?!?"

"You really need to get your priorities fixed." Most people loved cuddling and didn't want it flipped like she did. "What's the big deal?"

"Cuddling is where feelings come in. You only cuddle if you want to feel close to someone..." She trailed off like she was about to list off the only other excuses for cuddling. "...and then you know what'll happen? I'll fall for him and then he'll discover his stupid one true love and I'll be left alone again! He'll be like 'Hallie, you're the best thing ever!' and then one day he'll wake up with a country song tattooed across his chest and I'll be like 'what you don't even like country?' and he'll reply 'but I love it more than you!' as he kicks me out and tries to find his real soul mate!"

"But-" She was going to tell her how ridiculous she was being but then Hallie legitimately looked pained.

"Ow, okay we need to stop talking loudly. I need coffee and asprin and orange juice and whatever else will help this hangover." She rubbed her head and that moved her bangs as well. There was a bruise on it and her best friend whispered that she'd go get hangover treatment, passing by the living room and confirming her suspicions. Ethan's bruise looked exactly the same.

She didn't want to be too excited, so she grabbed Dianna and Justice as she made the coffee, not wanting the screams to kill her best friend's already hung-over self. "They're becoming each other's soulmates," she whisper screamed.

"How can you tell?" Justice asked.

"They have the exact same bruise!" She was so excited, wanting to burst into the living room and tell each other to stop being depressed and start being excited because it was destined.

"But he still doesn't have any of her tattoos..." Diana wanted to be excited for her brother, but he had already been heartbroken before and so too much optimism would be more harm than good.

"Yeah, so at least keep an eye on him..." She finished the coffee and brought it to her best friend, who was already vomiting in the bathroom.
