(2008)
I wrote on my blog about everything. Kegan and I co-owned one as well as an email address to help anyone going through the same thing we did.
I talked about how I got to know Dianna, even after everything had happened.
Kegan's handwriting appeared on my arm in a light trace "you ready?"
I threw on my muscle shirt and went outside to meet her.
We walked inside the tattoo parlor and pulled out little sketches on slips of paper. Mine had a D with a curl that said 01-17-06. Hers said J and had a curl with 07-19-05. I would get mine on my left shoulder and she would get hers on her right. We did it at the same time+, which probably wasn't the best for pain purposes. It didn't take very long to get the small, simple tattoos.
"They're perfect," Kegan whispered as she looked on my shoulders to get a better look.
We paid and left, walking down the sidewalk and holding hands. She put her head on my shoulder and it was still sensitive from the fresh ink, but I didn't mind.
I never liked the idea of couples getting each other's names tattooed, especially since it would appear on the other's body. But this I liked. We shared this and it was perfect.
