George's POV

After Lafayette canceled our date, I knew something had to be wrong. I hopped in my car, the engine roaring to life as I started to make my way towards his house.

My thoughts raced as I focused on the road ahead of me. He wouldn't just not call, right? He wouldn't have just canceled just like that.

Or maybe he did just cancel. Maybe he realized that the 30 year old teacher was not what he had hoped for.

I knew Laf wanted to go slow. It was their third date, and I knew Gil felt the same as i do towards the teen.

I suddenly came up towards the small house where Lafayette lived. I barely parked the car before I was rushing out of it.

As I strode up towards the door, nothing looked out of place. My calloused hand knocked on the wooden door, my eyes searching for any sort of misplacement.

No answer came, the whole street quiet. I tried the door knob, opening it with ease. My breath became ragged as I pushed through the house.

"Lafayette," I yelled into the empty house. My eyes scanned the place, not seeing my lover in sight.

I made my way up the stairs, knocking on the bedroom door. It opened, revealing a empty disheveled bedroom.

Clothes thrown about on the floor, the same clothes that Laf was wearing during school.

I slowly made my way towards the bed. My hand shakily held up the boy's cellphone.

Lafayette was gone.
