Tae still felt lonely going to bed without JK.
The first days Tae had sent him text messages.
*Please let's talk, JK. I need to talk to you.*
Just to get the same answer every time.
*Fuck off, Tae.*
So he stopped.
And what was there to say really?
Tae felt trapped by his own emotions.
He loved JK, but couldn't get it out of his mind that JK had been unfaithful to him. Well, maybe not unfaithful really, since they weren't in a relationship then, but he couldn't get it out of his mind.
Tae wondered what needed to happen for this curse to break.
Maybe Bogum and Yoongi were right. Maybe he just had to make out with someone himself and then it would be solved.

"Are you coming to the party tomorrow, JK?" JK's cute friend asked.
They were sitting on the sofa in the common room with Namjoon and Jin on Friday evening. JK was wondering were Tae was, but kept quiet.
JK shook his head.
"No, I'm not going. I don't feel like partying."
"Oh, come on, JK, it will be fun!" the cute boy said.
"Nothing like a party when you're feeling down." Jin said encouragingly.
"The last times I partied without Tae weren't my finest moments." JK said.
"You have a point there." Jin said remembering how he had lectured JK on his drinking and dating habits after that night when JK ended up following another boy home.
"Tae is still mad at me for what I did. That's what caused all this mess to start with, I believe." JK sighed.
"Well, if you just had listened to me that time ... " said the cute boy who had tried to stop JK from going home with that boy.
"Anyway, me and Joon are going to the party and we'll take care of you there if you need it." Jin said.
"Yeah, don't worry, JK. We'll be there for you, Jin and me!" Namjoon said putting his arm around Jin's broad shoulders.
"Thanks, mom and dad." JK said sarcastically and tried to smile.

On Saturday afternoon everyone started to get ready for the party.
Everyone except JK, since he wasn't going.
It was a sort of punishment to himself for those nights he spent out drinking and dating, those nights that seemed to have made Tae so upset.
This night he would stay at home and let Tae have his fun, not disturbing him with his presence. He'd suffer from knowing Tae was there with Bogum, but he'd just have to handle it. It was JK's own fault anyway.
Also, he was a bit afraid of how it would be to be in the same party as Tae, without being there together. What if Tae got drunk and tried to force JK to talk? Or worse, that Tae got drunk and ignored JK?
No, it was safer to stay at home.

Tae wasn't really in a party mood either, but he was still going, with Jimin and Yoongi. They had agreed to meet up Bogum outside the house of the party.
Jimin had said it would be good for Tae to think about something else than JK for an evening. But Tae knew he wouldn't think of something else.
He would be there at the party, feeling sad, seeing JK get drunk and have fun with other people, probably.
"Is JK coming, by the way?" Jimin asked when he, Yoongi and Tae were fixing their hair and make-up together in his room.
"How would I know? He doesn't speak to me. And when I text him he tells me to fuck off." Tae said applying his eyeliner.
"I heard he is not coming." Yoongi said.
"Oh." Tae said.
He didn't know if he was glad or sad that JK wasn't coming.
It would hurt Tae to see JK, but he also wanted to see him.
He wanted to see him dressed up for a party, with just some slight make up around the eyes, on the dance floor, moving his sexy body to the music.
He loved to see JK like that.
But JK wasn't coming and it might make it easier for Tae to forget about him for a while.
"Tae, I have to ask you. What's with you and this Bogum guy?" Yoongi asked hesitantly.
"What about him?" Tae asked back.
"Nothing, really. Just that he seems ... very interested in you. And you've spent a lot of time with him lately." Yoongi said.
"He's a friend, Yoongi. We've just been catching up on old memories. Nothing more. I've been glad for some distraction and it's been nice to see him again."
"Yeah, sure, Tae .... " Yoongi said with sarcasm in his voice.
"Yoongi, for fucks sake! He's not interested in me like that! And I'm not interested in anyone!" Tae said in frustration.
"Except my bunny and I can't have him. I don't deserve him. Yet." Tae added in a lower voice.
————
"Are you sure you don't want to come, JK?" Jin asked.
"I'll stay here. I'll have some banana milk and cookies, then I will go to bed." JK said.
"I feel so sorry for you." Namjoon said. "Not only for all this with Tae, but for missing such a party."
"No worries, guys, have fun! You look so awesome together tonight!" JK said smiling a little.
Namjoon was dressed in black jeans, a silvery tank top and a leather jacket.
His hair was light purple and he looked really cool. Jin could hardly take his eyes off him. Jin looked very handsome as well, in light blue jeans and matching jeans jacket over a white, tight t-shirt.
Tonight was a free zone, where gay relationships were accepted and no rumour would spread to anywhere outside the party. No headmaster, no parents, no one would ever get to know what went on.
Jin gave Namjoon a flirty smile, Namjoon winked back at him and they left.
