Jimin was sitting there holding Tae's hand, pressing it lightly, caressing the back of Tae's hand with his fingers, when he felt Tae responding to his touch.
Tae's fingers pressed lightly back on Jimin's hand.
"Tae, are you awake?" he said softly.
Tae opened his eyes and tried to focus his gaze.
"Jimin." he said in a weak voice.
"Yes, I am here with you now. Everything is okay."
He lifted his hand, stroked Tae's cheek and pushed his hair carefully away from his face.
"All just went black, Jimin. I don't know what happened." Tae said.
"You are okay now, Tae, don't worry. We found you in time." Jimin said.
"I drank too much, Jimin. I am sorry. I missed him so much, I drank to forget him."
"You missed JK?"
"My bunny. I missed him."
Jimin took a deep breath.
"Tae. There is something I must tell you."
"Okay, what is it?"
"It was my fault. I told JK to break up with you."
"Jimin, what are you saying?"
Namjoon and Jin gasped and looked in shock at the two friends.
"I told JK to break up with you. Because I thought it would make you understand. That it would help you forgive him."
Tae looked both shocked and upset.
"Are you fucking serious now, Jimin? You're supposed to be my best friend!"
"I'm not gonna say I'm sorry, Tae. At least not yet. I need to know first, was it worth all this? Did it work?"
"What the hell do you mean?"
"Do you want JK again, Tae? Are you ready to forgive him?"
Tae just stared at him. Then he nodded his head without hesitation.
"Yeah ... I am ... I'm ready to forgive him. So ... I guess it worked." he said.
Jimin took Tae's hand again. Tae put both his hands around Jimin's and held it. They looked at each other. Jimin sighed in relief. Tae didn't hate him.
"Tae, do you want me to call him? He is not far away." Jimin said.
"But JK will not want me anymore, Jimin. I let Bogum touch me." Tae said in a sad voice.
"Oh, Tae." Jimin said.
"Bogum made a lot of bad excuses, but I knew he wanted me, Jimin. And I still let him touch me. 'Cause it helped me forget how miserable I was."
Tae still didn't know what Bogum had done to him, what he had tried to do to him.
"I'll call JK now and you'll see he still wants you, Tae."
Jimin rose from the bedside, leaving space for Namjoon and Jin, and walked out of the room to call JK.
"He's awake now." Jimin told Yoongi and Hobi who sat talking intimately on a sofa by the wall.
They immediately stood up and walked over to Tae's room.
