As Harry shut the door to the backstage room, my nerves tensed up. I couldn’t even create words in my mind to give myself an explanation for what the hell was happening. All I could think about was Harry. He was holding my hand now, and leading us down a dim hallway. I looked around to see if I could find any clues to where we were going, but none had helped. I saw a plastic fern and  a couple of odd art pieces that were hanging on the wall. There was one security guard who resided on a comfy black chair reading a book. As we got closer to him, I noticed that he was reading ‘50 Shades of Grey’. When I saw that, I chuckled softly to myself.

After what seemed like forever, but in reality was probably about a 5 minutes, we made it to the end of the hallway, and Harry stopped us in front of the elevator.

“Where are you taking me?” I ask him, honestly curious about our current location and where we were headed to.

“It’s a surprise” He said on cue with the elevator door opening. He led me into the elevator, and pushed the last button on the board. He still had his hand intertwined with mine, so I rubbed my thumb along his, as we stood in the elevator waiting for the doors to open. From the looks of it, we were on floor 3 and needed to make it to floor 20. I pondered the thought for a little bit; weren’t we in a venue? The thought stayed for a minute or so till I decided to let it go. It didn’t matter where we were.

“So, you were really good tonight” I say, trying to break the silence that the two of us had created.

“Thanks” He replied, tightening the grip he had on my hand.

“So, are you going to tell me where we are going? Because I was told as a kid to never follow strangers... and I’m pretty sure you’re a stranger to me” I say jokingly, trying to light up the mood a little bit.

“Dessirrea, I won’t hurt you. I promise, but I can’t tell you where we’re going. I want it to be a surprise” He noted as the elevator beeped letting us know that we have arrived. He was really good at timing things, wasn’t he?

The elevator doors slowly opened, and I looked at the hallway that it had revealed. I noticed that there were five doors, evenly spread out. There were two on each side, and there was one down the middle of the hallway at the end. There were stars on each of the doors with writing on them but at the spot that I was at, I was unable to decode what they said.

We began to walk forward down the long hallway, and I glanced to my right at the first door. ‘Niall’ it said on the star. I looked to my left and noticed ‘Liam’ was written on the doors unique star. These must be their dressing rooms I thought to myself. Harry led me down the hallway till we hit the last door, where the star had ‘Harry’ written in the middle of it. I put his free hand on the doorknob and turned, opening the door.

He walked inside, and pulled me in with him. I looked inside and my mouth dropped. The room at the end of the hallway looked like a penthouse suite living room. There was a white couch that was placed in front of a wall of windows. There was a chrome fire pit placed in front of the couch that had flames already roaring in it. I looked around a little more and noticed that there was a bedroom to the left, and a restroom towards the right. Maybe this was his hotel room too? The whole set up confused me, but I could care less.

The lights were dimmed in the room, making everything seem a bit orange. The whole room looked like something out of a magazine, it was absolutely stunning.

“What is this?” were the only words that I could make out.

“It’s my dressing room slash hotel room.” He replied, letting out a quick laugh.

“But, I thought we were at the concert venue?” I asked him.

“That hallway we went through, it is a secret passageway from the venue to this hotel. It makes it so that we’re safer than leaving the place and making our way to a hotel.” He replied, fully answering my question.
