Giyu Tomioka's POV

I finally start to feel weak due to my injuries, guess the adrenaline rush went by...collapsing to the ground and conciousness slipping past me

"THE WATER HASHIRA! QUICK HOIST HIM UP!"

I heard someone shout then everything went dark

Tanjiro Kamado's POV

I felt my body suddenly becoming too heavy to even stand, and my chest felt REALLY tight, it threatened to squish my heart...

I fell to my knees, desperately gasping for air, my lungs were failing me...

Uzui-san noticed my struggle and came towards me, he supported me in standing, I'm being too much of a burden here...

I look around to see the Kakushis doing their magic, tending to Zenitsu... Inosuke was just arguing with a female Kakushi by the corner, heh, he really doesn't get along with girls huh?

"Kamado, are you alright?"

Uzui-san asks

"Yes...I feel just fi-"

I went into a coughing fit, violently coughing out blood...

'Damn... I went too far beyond my limits!'

I collapse, my remaining strength leaving my body

"TCH, OI KAKUSHIS, HELP THIS BOY OVER HERE ASWELL!!!"

Uzui-san shouted

All I could do was cough and lay down, my ears are ringing like crazy! My body's feeling really weak... like I haven't ate for days...!

I'm at the edge of conciousness

'Defeating an Upper Moon really took a  lot outta me...'

I black out

I awoke at a comfortable room, noticing myself all bandaged like a mummy and a few tubes connected to my arms... I was too groggy at the moment, I can see someone beside the door...

Kanao Tsuyuri's POV

'He's...awake...'

'He's...awake...?'

'He's awake...!'

"TANJIRO!"

I let out a cry

I ran towards his side

"I was so worried about you!"

I confessed to him

"I-Is that so...?"

He replied

I could only nod as the tears were overwhelming me, I've never been this happy before, not including the time Kanae nee-san and Shinobu-sama adopting me...

"I almost thought that you wouldn't make it!"

I told him as I cried

"Kanao...it's unusual for you to cry"

He told me

Was I supposed to take that as an insult? or a compliment?

"It's ok Kanao, don't cry too much for me..."
