Chapter 14

Tanjiro Kamado's POV

"I can't stand this!"

I screamed as I broke free of Tomioka-san's grasp and ran for Nezuko

She had the demon pinned down with her foot, smirking with killer intent, as I saw this, I reconsidered my plan to save her, for now at least

The Demon quickly broke free and slashed Nezuko all into pieces, but at the next second, the demon went up in pinkish red flames, the second after that, Nezuko was fully healed

Nezuko then sent her flying over a building, smashing the front area, she went in the building, so I cautiously follow her... as I enter, I quickly notice Nezuko's demon side take over her, as she attempted to assault a wounded woman, I ran towards her, stopping her just in time, if I were a second late, I'd had to commit seppuku after this...

I quickly gagged her mouth using my sword as to prevent her from biting my arm off, she was stronger than what she previously demonstrated

"NEKUZO! STOP IT! CONTROL YOURSELF!"

I shout to no avail

She was flailing her arms and legs around like a madman, so it took everything I had to subdue her, the wounded woman started running away

"NEZUKO GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF!"

I shout at her

"GAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!"

She shouted

"RESIST IT NEZUKO!!!!"

I shout once again

"I'M SO SORRY FOR MAKING YOU FIGHT!"

I apologize even though it wasn't my fault for getting knocked out

"PLEASE NEZUKO!!!! RESIST IT!!!!!!!"

I plead, my voice straining from all the shouting

"I'LL PROTECT YOU NOW! JUST GO SLEEP AND I'LL TAKE CARE OF THE REST!"

I promise her

Rather than getting a reply, all I got was a wooden plank to my back and head

She jumped up to the next floor over, startling the innocent family...

"GO! RUN AWAY PLEASE!"

I shout at them and they immediately start running for it, Tomioka-san followed us over here, without my knowledge but that wasn't the problem present at hand

Nezuko was still flailing her arms and legs all around, and I can feel my body losing energy by the second

"Tanjiro move! I'll knock her out cold!"

Tomioka-san exclaimed to my dismay

"No please! I'll handle this on my own!"

I tell him, struggling to actually talk as she was resisting so bad, she's actually clawing at my head, fortunately it's not bleeding...

"NEZUKO PLEASE! CALM DOWN!!!"

I shout straining my voice even further as she finally snapped out of it, she suddenly fell asleep with tears in her eyes, reverting back to her normal form

"YOU'VE DONE IT NOW!"

The demon shouted as she reappeared in front of us, with severe burns all over her body, well, severe if she wasn't a demon
