Wanda's Pov

After leaving the team with the Avengers I decided to go somewhere far away, I remembered a place I did a mission for Hydra once. Starling City. I remember that mission like it was yesterday, I was retrieving a drug called vertigo the doctor who experimented on me and my brother needed it to improve the serums.

At that time we didn't know what we were getting ourselves into, we believed by doing what we were told and using our powers for them would make that world a better place. We were wrong about that and doing so cost me my brother.

I landed in Central City after being in the plane for 5 hours really puts a number on you, I was exhausted and jet-legged that I plan to find a motel and rest until tomorrow maybe explore the city while I'm here. But first I need a cup of coffee, since it's still early.

I asked for the best coffee shop in Central City and someone directed me to Jitters, I took a taxi from the airport to Jitters. Once I get dropped off I stare at this unfamiliar place and the smell of coffee immediately hits my nose and into my lungs. The smell was delightful, I walked inside the place I was so memorized by the place that I didn't notice someone coming towards me.

"Oh gosh, I'm so sorry." I apologized to the person I bumped into.

"No, no. I'm sorry, I'm in a rush and I wasn't looking where I was going." The guy said quickly cleaning up the coffee spill. I grabbed a bunch of napkins and helped him.

"I'm Barry. Barry Allen." He extended his hand which was wet from the coffee, he noticed and immediately cleaned his hand and re-extended his hand. I giggled.

"Wanda Maximoff." Barry seemed a bit confused like if there was something familiar about my name. But I quickly changed the subject.

"Where were you going in such a rush, if you don't mind me asking?"I asked continuing helping.

"It's actually my first day of work at the police department, my boss asked me I catch him some coffee but I woke up late." After cleaning up the mess I ordered him so coffee to go.

"That's really cool, what do you do?" I asked being curious I've never met a police officer.

"I'm actually a scientist in the Criminal and Forensic Science Division, I investigate the scene of the crime seeing what or who killed the victim." He must be really smart, he looks smart and good looking.

"Barry, you remind me of someone who's also into science." I leaned against the counter waiting for the two cups of coffee.

"Really, who?"  He asked grabbing two straws for the coffee.

"His name is Bruce Banner." I smiled remembering him, there's still no word of Banner.

"Wait, Dr. Bruce Banner, as in the Bruce Banner? The guy who experimented in himself to replicate the serum that was used on Captain America but instead became the.... Hulk?" He whispered the last part, he's eyes gleamed with excitement.

"Yeah that would be the one." A lady handed me the three cups of coffee, and I handed two to Barry and had one for myself. He held them as we headed outside.

"Hold on, you personally know him?" I nodded my head, Barry took a sip of his coffee.

"So if you know him then that means..." Barry took a good look at me knowing he's seen me somewhere before and he figured it out. He dropped his mouth.
