When We Work Together - Chapter One

Sucrose and Albedo started learning about alchemy back in June when he saw her trying to make a potion with baking soda. He had never found interest in alchemy until he found her, and suddenly became interested.

He heads over to Sucrose.

"Hey," he spoke.

Sucrose jumps and drops the tube of liquid on the concrete and the baking soda. She gasps.

"Don't scare me like that.."

He helps her pick up what she had dropped.

"I apologize. I'm Albedo, you?"

She looked at him. "I'm Sucrose.. I have been studying alchemy for about 2 weeks now.. and I don't know much, but I could use a lot of help.."

Albedo was drawn into interest. "Well, I've never studied alchemy, but if you please, we can become partners and we can learn together." He smiled sweetly.

Sucrose was excited with his offer and gladly agreed. She decided it would be best to get to know him first, so she asked him some questions. With full honesty, he answered back and asked things about her too! They seemed to be very interested in each other, but however, they wouldn't think they'd be anything more than a partner in crime, along with a friend when you need one.

"So, what brings you to Mondstadt? A change of scenery.. moving.. visiting family.. or.." He asked.

"Well.. I live here in Mondstadt actually! Do you?"

"Yeah! But, I do a lot of research in the mountains of Dragonspine. I hold an infinite desire to learn about the world of Teyvat."

She jumps. "Oh really? That's so cool!"

He chuckles a bit. "Yeah, it's what I do."

For miles and miles of walking, they decided to call it a day, and go separate ways to do their own research.

"We are going to start tomorrow, right?" She says, making sure of herself.

"You've got it." He smiles.

"Great! See ya!"

"See ya around," Albedo says.

Ever since that very day, they've been inseparable partners and very hardworking ones, too.
