My head hurt. Where was I? I was dizzy. My palms were wet. Blood. My own blood. I pushed myself up on my feet. I was covered in blood. Nothing left inside of me, I guess.
My feet were heavy. Mother. I could see her a hands length away from me. My eyes were closing. No. Must get help.
I staggered to the front door. Hm. The throbbing in my heart, the buzzing in my ears...they were killing me. I was out the door. I looked to the side. The door to the next flat...it's ajar.
Oh god. Why? Why is every single door always ajar? And why do I always want to go in? Uh. My head. The blood, it's dripping off of me.
I pushed open the door and cringe.
Inches away was a chair. A girl tied to it. The sister. The striking blue eyes lifeless. Oh god.
My head was spinning. I will call the police. Where is my phone? Inside.
I stepped into my flat again. My phone, where...?
The moon was up...so beautiful. I stumbled to the balcony. The fresh air. No stench of blood.
Everything came to me at once.
