Years 2005-2043
Infinity War and anything after that doesn't happen~3rd person~
•Year 2005•"Hey mommy?" A small voice reached Mary's ears. She turned around to see her 3 year old son, Peter in his pajamas and teddy bear in his arms. She smiled softly and picked up the tiny kid.
"Yes dear?" Peter yawned before answering. "What's that mark on your shoulder?" He asked and pointed the soulmate mark on Mary's right shoulder.
"It's the first thing your daddy said to me. It says 'who are you'." Mary explained, letting the small boy examine the words. "Why do you have it?" He asked before yawning again.
"That is a story for another day."
But Mary never had the chance to explain it to his son.
•Year 2010•
"Uncle Ben!" Nine year old Peter shouted while running to his uncles car. I was hot early summer and Peter had just gotten out of school. "Hi kiddo!" Ben replied, smiling at the boy.
"Hey what's that on your shoulder?" Peter asked, pointing the soulmate mark. Ben glanced at it and smiled even wider. "It's my soulmate mark." He replied, knowing he woke up Peter's curiousity.
"What's a soulmate mark?"
"It's something everyone has." Peter looked at his own shoulder. "I don't have one!" He exclaimed. "You get yours after you turn sixteen." Ben reassured. "Oh. But what is it exactly?"
"It's the first thing your soulmate says to you." Peter made an o with his mouth. "Sooo, the first thing your soulmate said to you is 'I'm sorry'?" Ben nodded.
"It was how me and aunt May met."
•Year 2015•
"Aunt May?" Peter's voice was silent. He walked in the kitchen with tear stained face and red eyes. May was in same condition.
"Yes dear?" She was wearing a top, showing clearly the soulmate mark. But instead of words, there was a date. The day when uncle Ben died.
"What was your mark before - before he - he died?" It was hard for Peter to make the words. They were still both recovering. May smiled sadly.
"It's okay, it's not your fault." She said, a single tear making it's way down her cheek. Peter walked closer. "How did you meet?"
"I ran into him on the street. After that we both started to continue our ways, before realising what the other said. We turned around to meet each other properly." She explained.
