Chapter 6: The Past and a New Relationship?

Me: Mommy, where are you going? Don't leave!!

Mom: I'm sorry sweetie but mommy has to go now. I'll explain when you get older. I love you.

Me: NO!!! MOMMY!!!! Don't leave!!!! MOMMYYYYYY!!!!!

Ughhh... Another nightmare. I don't know why, but ever since I started 9th grade, I've been having flashbacks of the past. When our mom left us, when I was about 6 years old, my dad said I started being mean to people and I would always be called over to the principals office, for a six year old to do that, that's pretty intense. This stopped when I was 10 years old. I don't really care right now why she left us, I just want her to love and care for me again. Huh? Wait, why's my vision getting blurry? am I - 

Jeremy: Ciara! Why are you crying?

Me: I don't know

Jeremy: Come here

He pulled me into a tight hug and I hugged him back. I'm really glad that I have a brother like him and Peter. He released from the hug and sat down beside me.

Jeremy: What happened?

Me: I had a dream, nightmare actually. It was when mom left, I was calling out to her telling her not to leave, and then I suddenly woke up and I realized that I was already crying.

Jeremy: Don't worry, me, Peter, dad and Wendy are here for you, we will never leave you, so cheer up okay?

Me: Thanks Jeremy, by the way, what time is it?

Jeremy: 2 pm

Me: Already? I've been sleeping for 2 hours and I haven't eaten yet!!!! Jer, can you buy me food?

Jeremy: NO!

Me: Pwwwwweeeaaassseee!!!!

Jeremy: .......... No

Me: Pweeeettyyy pwweeaasseee with a cherry on top!!!

Jeremy: Haaahhh... Fine, I could never resist your puppy dog eyes

Me: Yes!! Thanks bro!

We left dad a note saying,

Dear dad,

       We just went out for a while to buy food. Your phone is in your pocket, text us if you want anything from Starbucks.

We went to the nearest Starbucks, good thing Jeremy knew his way around here cause he attends this university, UCLA. We went inside and had our order for takeout. I ordered a Grande Caramel Frappuccino, Nonfat milk, No whip and Roasted Tomato & Mozzarella Panini, while Jeremy ordered a Venti Eggnog Latte, Whole Milk and Chicken Santa Fe Panini and we ordered dad a Tall Caffè Latte, 2% Milk and Turkey & Swiss Sandwich. We waited for 5 minutes before our order was on the "claiming table?" and then we went back to the hospital. 

Me: Dad, we're back

Dad: Hey!

Jeremy: Hi dad, we bought you a Tall Caffè Latte, 2% Milk and Turkey & Swiss Sandwich.

Dad: Thanks Guys!! Let's eat !!

After we ate, I collected our trash and put it in the trash bin and dad went back to sleep.

Jeremy: I guess we should head home, freshen up and bring extra clothes for dad and come back later. I'll text Peter to look after dad.

Me: Okay

Jeremy: Ciara, wake up we're home.

Me: Uggghhh... 5 more minutes Jer.

While I was sleeping, it felt like someone was lifting me up or carrying me. When I opened my eyes, I was already in my room, lying down on me bed. I looked at the time and it was already 5:00 pm!!! I went into the bathroom, took a quick shower and after that I put on my clothes. I ran downstairs and found Jeremy watching TV with Lil? 

Me: Hey Jer.... HEEEEYYYY LLLLIIIIILLLLL!!!!

Lil: H-Hey baby girl!!

Me: Do you wanna go with us to the hospital?

Lil: Are you sure?

Me: It's alright, you're practically family, right Jeremy?

Jeremy: Huh? Uh... yeah

Me: See? so lets go go go!!!

We went inside Jeremy's car, me and Lil at the back and Jeremy in the drivers seat. The drive to the hospital was very awkward, what happened to these two? We finally arrived at the hospital and went up to dad's room, and saw my mom inside.

Me: Hey dad...... hey mom

Mom: Hi Ciara, Jeremy and Amy. We'll I better leave, Cole is waiting for me at home.

Cole's my little brother, the son of my mom and her new husband.

Mom: Bye guys and you, you should take care of yourself.

Dad: Yes ma'am

Then she left. 

Jeremy: Hi dad

Dad: Hi Jeremy, Peter already left cause he has to take care of Wendy, cause she's pregnant.

Jeremy: Yeah, he called me earlier. Oh, by the way, Lil tagged along.

Lil: Hi uncle

Dad: Hi Amy. Ummm... Jeremy and Ciara about your mom, she-

Nurse: Sorry to interrupt, but the patient has to drink his medicine, it's already 6:00 pm.

Dad: Ah, okay. 

Me: Uhhh dad, me and Lil are just gonna walk outside, for fresh air.

Dad: Just make sure you return, I still have something to discuss with you and Jeremy.

Me: Yeah...
