Jane's Point of view{ The roof... Guardians of the attic... }
Me and Sam ate breakfast. It was 11 in the morning. I didn't sleep very well. I was thinking about the next ghost. I was frightened just by thinking about it.
"Are you okay Jane?" Sam suddenly asked me. "I can't really say I'm okay. I'm scared. I'm scared of death..." I said to him. "I'll protect you. Even if that means I'm going die." he said and than he kissed me.
{ I wouldn't survive if Sam died. He was the only thing keeping me alive. }
"We have to go to the roof, right?" I asked Sam. "Yes. That's what the ghost told us." he answered. "What or who did he mean by the guardians of the attic?" Sam asked me. I didn't answer him.
Suddenly, we heard a noise coming from downstairs. We carefully went downstairs. I was scared. Did someone just enter the house?
We went to the living room. There was a broken vase. "Hello? Is somebody here?" I asked friendly. "Jane is that you?" a voice responded. "Is that Penny?" Sam asked me. "Penny?!" I yelled.
After that, Penny came from the kitchen. "Penny!" I yelled. I was so happy. Happy that she is alive. "Jane! You guys are okay!" she yelled back while she hugged me tightly. "Wait... Where is Eric?" Sam asked after he greeted Penny. "It's a long story..." she said. She was said. "What happened?" I asked with a very serious voice.
She told us everything. From the cuts, to the small details she saw. "He... He just couldn't handle the pressure." she ended. "No... Eric..." I said quietly. I wanted to cry but i held my tears back. Sam putted his arm around me. He saw the pain in my eyes. "What's going on here?" Penny asked me and she punched me in a shoulder. "Nothing special, really." I smiled. We all started laughing.
I told her what happened to us. I told her all about the curse, the ghosts and I also told her, that me and Sam fell in love. She was very excited. She was happy for me. Than she turned to Sam and she said to him : "Take good care if my girl." She smiled at him and he smiled back.
"We have to go to the roof of this house." Sam said. "No... I'm not going to the attic again!" Penny screamed with a very scared voice. "What? But we need to go there!" I told her. "Me and Eric went up there..." she said to me. "What happened?! Why didn't you tell us?" Sam asked her. He was angry. "Whoa, Sam calm down!" I said to him. "What happened in the attic?" I asked Penny again. "There... There were dolls everywhere. It was like a nightmare! Than..." she couldn't continue. "What happened than?" I asked in curiosity. "The dolls... Were... A... Alive!" she was terrified. "Calm down!" I tried to comfort her.
{ Dolls. They were one of my fears. I was scared of them. When I was little, my mom drove me to my grandparents house. It was a small and very old house. My grandmother was obsessed with dolls. I felt like they were watching me... }
"Let's get the kitchen knives. We'll need protection. "Right!" I said.
We went to the kitchen. We grabbed some kitchen knives. "Are we ready?" I asked. "I think so..." Penny said. She was afraid to go up there. But it was the only way.
We went upstairs. "Is this it?" I asked Penny. "Yes. We need to get up there." she said and she showed us the door on the celling. Sam pulled it down. Penny took a deep breath and she went up.
It was dark and dusty up there. I started coughing. "It's just like the last time I was here..." Penny said. "But... Where are the dolls?" Sam said.
Suddenly we heard a voice say : "Welcome, my friends!" It was a girls voice. "This is one of the dolls!" Penny screamed in fear. Than one of the oil laps lit up. There was a doll standing right next to it. She didn't have eyes. They were burnt off. "Want to play?" she said to us. She was creepy. Than, she started walking into our direction.
