The moment the alarms went on, Dabi cursed himself for his stupidity. Why did he think entering a school full of superheroes was a good idea? Before he could even think about the fact that he needed to escape somehow he was already cornered by all of the Pros that were still inside the building. The students trying to look what was going on were held back by some of their teachers.
Everyone recognized him instantly, most of all Class 1A. Aizawa stepped forward. "Dabi from the league of villains." He stated, his hair already floating as his quirk activated to minimize the damage. "How did you get in here? And what business does the league have here?"
Dabi looked around, Eri still hidden behind him and wrapped up in his coat to keep her warm. The villain weighed his options and finally let out a sigh. "I came here to return something to you."
Suspicious glances were thrown at him. Just as he was about to continue, the small white head of Eri peaked out from behind him. "Aizawa-san?" She looked around, still searching for something or someone else while everyone looked at her in shock. "Izu-kun!" Her eyes lit up slightly as she spotted the green haired boy who looked at her in utter surprise. "Eri-Chan! Are you ok?" The little girl nodded. "To-kun saved me and brought me back here. So please don't be angry at him because he's not allowed here... he's just here because of me."
What Eri told them took everyone by surprise once again. "He saved you?" Aizawa looked at the villain intently before turning to Eri for his answer. She nodded. "A guy with a mask and a weird girl took me and locked me in a dark room... it was cold and scary, but then To-kun came in and gave me his long jacket. He promised to take me back to you." The black haired teacher listened with a slight scowl. "So the league of villains was involved after all." "They wanted her to try and recreate those bullets." Aizawa's head snapped up at Dabi again, not expecting to actually reveal what they were planning.
"I think it's weird that you would just bring her back here. There must me some kind of catch." Midnight looked at him in suspicion. "I get that you don't trust me but as bad of a guy I might be I don't hurt kids." Dabi grunted. "You attacked my students and took one of them." "Yeah, sorry about that. I told the handy man it was a stupid idea but they're not exactly little kids anymore. They can fight back and they did." "Ok we'll leave it at that for now." Midnight still didn't look very convinced.
"Aizawa-san you have to help To-kun just like me. His Daddy hurt him too." Eri suddenly spoke up, catching the attention of many, even Dabi was taken aback by the sudden declaration. "I told you I was fine." He tried to convince the girl. "No you're not. You look sad." "It's nice of you to try and help me but that's not necessary. I'll manage. Now I think you should go get some rest and let the adults have a talk ok?" A small scowl formed on her lips but she nodded faintly. "Ok... Will I ever see you again?" "Probably not. But who knows. Maybe next time you can come visit me." She smiled a little. "Bye To-kun." The girl surprised him with a hug. When she finally let go again she gave him his coat back and left with Midnight after a last wave to him.
Everyone watching was left stunned by their interaction. Dabi put his coat back on and looked around. "Ok before you call the cops and I get arrested let me make a call." "Do you seriously think we're going to let you call for backup?" Ectoplasm asked. "Use one of your phones then. I just want to tell him I won't be coming back. I'll tell you the number." Aizawa looked suspicious but pulled out his phone. "Fine I'll humor you."
When the number had been dialed the black haired teacher left the phone on speaker for anybody to hear. 'Pro Hero Hawks speaking who's calling?" Several jaws dropped around the room. "Hey Hawks it's me" "Dabi?! Who's phone are you calling from? What's going on?" The villain sighed. "That's not important right now. Listen, I won't be coming home anymore so don't wait for me." He hated revealing Hawks to the Heroes like this but if he didn't call him now he'd have a panic attack again and search the whole city for him. The line was silent for a bit as well as everyone in the room because they were still in shock. "What are you talking about? What kind of trouble are you in?" Hawks almost sounded annoyed but also worried. "The Pro hero kind I guess. I might have snuck into U.A. and got caught." He could practically see Hawks irritated look. "You did what?! What the hell where you thinking?! Are you still there?" "Well for now, they'll probably call the cops as soon as I finish this call. Oh and they're all listening to your freak out so there's that." "I'm so mad at you right now. I really want to punch you. Ok if everyone is listening fine. Don't call the cops I'm coming over." With that the line went dead and Dabi had a feeling he's as good as dead too when Hawks got here.
