Shinsou was actually kind of jealous when he heard of the whole time traveling fiasco. I mean he met the two teachers from the past but only for a few minutes. It made him realize how much more exiting his life would be if he were in Class 1A. Heaven knows if he'll ever even make it there. "Shinsou? Are you with me?" a voice tore him from his thoughts and he looked to see Aizawa standing in front of him. "Oh! S-Sorry I was just thinking. What is it Sensei?" "I need to talk to you about something. It's really important. Come with me."
Following after his teacher, Shinsou got caught up in his head again, wondering what he wanted to talk about. //Maybe they decided that they don't want to take me in after all. Or the police decided that I have to go back...// He was getting more and more anxious by the second when they finally stopped in his teacher's office.
Aizawa had had a weird day after meeting his students from the future just after the other two were gone. He just wanted to get home and relax on the couch with Yamada because Shinsou would get back from school a bit later than usual. He had just arrived at home with the loud blonde when he got a call from the detective.
Yamada watched him as he responded to the call. "So any news yet?" "Yes actually. Shinsou's caretaker was taken into custody recently and the trial will be the day after tomorrow. I would appreciate it if you'd come with the boy. It would help the case immensely." "I'll talk to the kid. I don't want to force him. Anything else?" "One more thing. About that test you asked me to make." "Yes?" "It came back positive." Aizawa's breath caught in his throat for a second before he released it with a heavy sigh. "How will you proceed now?" He heard the question from the other line. "It doesn't change anything. It will just make things easier right?" "You actually got a point there Eraser. Getting custody over Shinsou will be a lot easier like this and faster but we will talk about this more after the trial if that's alright with you." "That's fine. Thanks for the update. I'll be seeing you."
After finally hanging up the black haired teacher let out a long sigh and slumped back on the couch. "I was right... our DNA matches up..." "So you really are the boy's father?" Yamada looked at him. "I guess. I don't even know if this is good or not. And what will Shinsou think about this? He probably won't accept it that easily, I know I wouldn't." "I know this is hard Sho but you were already adopting him and treating him like your son. Nothing changed but the fact that he's actually your son by blood. Maybe this is a blessing. It will be easier for us to adopt him and who knows, maybe knowing that he wasn't all alone and unloved after all will help Shinsou feel more welcome."
Aizawa leaned on the blonds shoulder. "I don't even know how to tell him. I can't just suddenly spring it on him." "Just take him with you to talk and tell him. I know it feels harder than it sounds but you can do it. You're the big scary Aizawa-Sensei after all." Yamada laughed lightly. "Idiot." The black head rolled his eyes but smiled slightly. He scooped up the cat that had come out of its hiding place and cuddled back into his husband's side while petting it.
The next day after school he found Shinsou wandering the halls absently. He went up to talk to him and minutes later they were standing in his office. The boy looked slightly uncomfortable and shifted on his feet. "Sit down kid." Aizawa told him and went to sit too.
He looked at him "First of all you don't have to worry, you're not in trouble and also your caretaker was taken in by the police recently. The trial is tomorrow and I want to know if you'd be willing to come with me. It would help a lot." The boy looked thoughtful for a moment. "I guess I can come with... anything to help never seeing him again." The teacher nodded. "If you're sure, ok. But should you change your mind just tell me you don't have to come." "Ok. Was that it?" "No. The reason I called you here is a different one."
Aizawa took a deep breath before continuing. "I was made aware of something during the visit of those time travelers and had the Detective check up on it. He called me yesterday and confirmed my theory." "What are you talking about Sensei?" "I'll give you the paper he mailed me but please know that I had no idea, because if I had your life would probably have been a lot easier and I apologize for not being aware of it sooner."
